Description

Speargun from Meandros, 85 centimeters long, suitable for visibility in the sea up to 10 meters and a depth of 5 to 6 meters. Its medium length makes it ideal for planning and ambushing, and it can also sneak under large rocks. It is a rubber-powered speargun, as rubber bands are used as the means of propelling the spear.

Pin Roller

A reference point is the PIN ROLLER system that bypasses all the usual construction problems. It offers reduced friction with zero wear at the contact point with the shaft while simultaneously distributing the load received from the shaft to 3 points.

Two contact points in the cassette and one point on the hook, which now receives a small part of the applied pressure and not 100% of it. Thus, the hook exerts much less pressure at the contact point with the trigger, resulting in the pressure we apply to the trigger to release the shaft being much less than that of a classic inverted mechanism.


Hydrodynamic Oval Barrel

The heavy-duty hydrodynamic ovality aluminum barrel made of aeronautical alloy with an integrated hydro-slide shaft guide, reduced friction in a trapezoidal shape, provides rigidity with an ideal weight ratio and quite large, almost neutral positive buoyancy +5.69 gr/cm. The neutral buoyancy in the heavy-duty tubular gun version is perceived by the user as a comfortable, agile, and powerful fishing tool. The thickness of the barrel wall around for greater rigidity is uniformly 1.50 mm, surpassing the others.

The rigidity combined with the absence of recoil achieves shooting accuracy and top ballistic performance at a distance from the tip of the shaft x 5 the length of the barrel.  ARGO is a stable and sturdy launch platform for the shaft that guarantees rigidity, with minimal energy loss from recoil. 

Open Head

The open-type 2-hole head has a particularly elegant hydrodynamic design that makes moving the gun in any direction a simple matter. The double threaded bands are recessed unevenly into the body at different height levels. During their release, they do not push against each other, which contributes to agility, accuracy, and the avoidance of oscillations and friction between the bands. The trapezoidal-shaped guide touches the shaft at 3 points, providing sliding with reduced friction.

    I decided to get the 85mm since I now dive shallow up to 10 meters, but I wanted something small and powerful and I didn't want to deal with rollers, inverters, etc. I tried them, I didn't like them, I wanted something simple and good. With this specific 85mm, it's like holding a 95mm and adding simple conventional ones. It became an extension of my hand, I didn't expect it to be so good, really...

    The buoyancy is much better than the B32 and overall more comfortable to aim. I see that many people have it and not without reason. I tried it and I was very satisfied, it will definitely be my next one.
