To all of you who rate the tire as terrible:
It is a WINTER tire! Pay attention to the M+S marking which means MUD + SNOW! As good as it is to wear it from November to April, it is just as bad to wear it on the hot Greek asphalt during the other months! I am a Greek living abroad for now and I ride my scooter in Belgrade. I have these tires and I put them on from November 1st until early April (or even mid-April depending) and the scooter handles perfectly. If I leave them on the hot summer asphalt, because here the summer is pretty much like that of Northern Greece, it is logical that they will wear out and get destroyed! In the summer, I put on Metzeler Roadtec. Pay a little attention to the M+S sign. The tire dealers want to sell and they will NOT tell you that these tires are winter tires. Those of you who live in areas with low winter temperatures like Trikala, Grevena, Kozani, Kastoria, Florina, Ioannina, etc., try what I’m telling you and you will see! But strictly only in winter! And because I live in Serbia and the factory is in the city of Pirot in southern Serbia (after all, besides M+S it says MADE IN SERBIA on the tire), I shout this on Facebook to everyone, but few listen to me.

Mediocre to bad. I fell for the name and because everyone wears them on scooters. Very mediocre on dry, I don't push them on wet anyway with the scooter. I've had them for 2 years. Wear and tear doesn't concern me anyway, in the 3rd year they need to be changed, they have worn out or not. I didn't buy them for a lifespan of 5-10 years. :D On the next change, I'm going towards Metzeler after I research first from reviews. That's it. ps. Worn on Citycom 300.

Both versions give you the safety and security that a rider needs. I had no problems with the old ones or with the grip 2 for a month, neither in dry nor in wet conditions. They are European-made and so far I am satisfied with riding in the city and up to 15-20 kilometers outside the city.

Worn on a Honda SH150i MY2016. Well, these tires are made for Greek roads, potholes, water, glass asphalt, bad inclines, dirt-dust... Their behavior in the wet is excellent - they remove water with remarkable ease, they literally shave it off! Directionality is excellent; without hands and just with weight, you can steer a well-balanced scooter through traffic with great precision (crown with correct geometry). The frame is not the stiffest among the competition, but it is stiff enough not to ruin the geometry of the crown while also absorbing small irregularities of the asphalt, which for many is the desired feature. It provides immediate feedback on quality and grip levels and warns in time without scaring you. The ABS, of course, you forget you have it because the tire adapts to whatever surface I have encountered, wet or dry, and activates only in extreme braking on glass asphalt or slime. For the record, three months ago I switched to Dunlop Scootsmart; I did 1000 km, the ABS became my friend, braking distances increased, the rear wheel skidding also increased, and in water, let's not even discuss it... A disappointment, and that's why I returned to City Grip 2, which also reduced consumption (probably because they inspire confidence and I don't need to significantly and constantly limit speed in turns, water, bad asphalt, and then accelerate again...) I classify the tire as soft, so maybe its wear is around 10,000 km instead of 15,000, but the information they provide and the quality of rolling is such that most wear them out and change them when they are completely gone. I have to say that I prefer City Grip 5 years old with 20,000 km over fresh Dunlop Scootsmart, which is why the Dunlops went to the trash in less than 2 months with 1200 km. For me, Athens, and the SH150i, the City Grip 2 (as well as City Grip 1) is the fastest and safest tire, and I won't change it. (For those who are curious... the big difference between City Grip 2 and City Grip 1 is in the wet; the 1s were good, but the 2s are unbeatable - they nailed it.)

Awesome tire for scooters. I put them on my Nmax at 24000 km and got rid of the worn-out Dunlop tires that were slipping and not braking very well. This specific Michelin tire is great on dry roads and perfect in the rain, as it is very stable in wet conditions and doesn't slide.
Unbelievable braking both in progressive braking and sudden braking. The bike doesn't wobble and the ABS doesn't kick in too much when needed. I feel a great sense of security with this tire change.
It has more grooves and channels for water. This tire gave me a different feeling in driving and leaning during lane changes and entering corners. The tire doesn't oversteer and I can enter corners better and more steadily.

I have been wearing them for a few days and I am amazed at their grip on both dry and wet roads. Worn on a Vespa 300 GTS, no comparison to the original City Grip 1 tires that came from the factory (which lasted 9k km). These started slipping over time and after 2k km. They provide minimal accuracy in turns. It's a shame because the City Grip 1 was really a very good tire. With the City Grip 2, the ASR works quite well. I changed them now after 2.5k km. I would not recommend them in any case for scooters with small wheels like the Vespa (120/70/12 front and 130/70/12 rear).

Worn on a Sym Jet 14. Very good tires! Very good grip, I haven't tried them in the rain yet, but on dry roads they go fearlessly. Very comfortable driving, easy and smooth leaning, they have better response when braking. Overall, flawless! I would definitely buy them again!

Placed on a sym jet x... I went to the store with my own bike and left with another one, that simple. The tire, especially compared to the awful cst ones, is like day and night. As soon as you get on, you can feel the upgrade in absorbing road irregularities and the bike sticking to the asphalt... the front of the handlebar gives you the feeling that it's heavier when turning, but at the same time it leans much easier, making the ride more comfortable. I haven't ridden them in the rain yet, but I'm not worried based on what I've read from people who have used them, and also from the image they have shown so far, which indicates their quality. I consider their placement essential, especially on sym bikes where the parent company puts tires of not 2nd, but 3rd quality and selection.

Worn on Piaggio X8 200. Front size 120/70/14, rear 130/70/12. The previous ones were Dunlop Scootsmart which I want to forget. With the Dunlop, the bike reacted nervously, always the pressures given by Piaggio, it slipped easily, in the wet you had to ride as if it were flat, that is, very slowly, in open bends at 60 km/h it felt nervous with a tendency to want to go the other way. Changed tires to Michelin City Grip2 and it was like day and night!!
Another bike!! I broke them in as the workshop advised me, always the correct pressures, and I was saved!
In dry conditions, no nervousness at all, in open bends even at 80-90 it sticks. In braking, I have no complaints. A rock. Even in panic braking while standing, it would hardly slip. On provincial winding roads, it will allow you to scrape the double stand even with a passenger.
On wet pavement, I always ride conservatively so I can't say for sure. One unique time I had to get home quickly due to sudden rain on a provincial road, I didn't go over 70, I didn't push it, but it seemed to hold.
I am more than satisfied. Kavala is a difficult city with many uphill and downhill roads, and in some neighborhoods like Prof. Ilias, there is a very steep incline, thus putting a lot of strain on the tires.
When the time comes to change them, I will definitely put them back on with my eyes closed!31/10/2024 Update:
After almost 6500 km on the uphill and downhill roads of Kavala, many of which are steep, and most of the kilometers were done with a double passenger, we are talking about increased strain on the tires. To the point: When you put them on new, everything is fine, of course, they will hold in all the situations you will encounter.
But what happens when you write a few thousand kilometers? How do they behave over time? Although they still have rubber, they haven't worn out, they started to slip in dry conditions. A few days ago on a ride, I leaned right, not anything extreme, 60-65 km, it slipped on the turn as if I had hit water. There was no water, I was surprised, it slipped and I started to go towards the guardrail. Fortunately, I saved it. This worried me about their lifespan and how dangerous such incidents can become. Above all, our life, our physical integrity, and then everything else. There is no chance I will wear them out first and then change them. I am completely satisfied with these specific tires. They have much better grip and handling compared to the unacceptable Metzeler tires that the Downtown came with from the factory. I constantly felt insecure because the scooter would slide since the tires struggled to increase their temperature and I felt like I was riding on glass. Highly recommended.

I bought them due to the lack of Metzeler Roadtec tires, they have decent grip on dry roads, moderate grip on wet roads (they don't give me confidence to lean in the turn). Compared to the previous tires (factory ones), it seems like the bike requires more force to turn the handlebars, but it leans more easily in the turn. I don't know if it's very suitable for city riding as you mainly turn at low speeds and occasionally need the handlebars. Anyway, the tire is called city grip and not city agility. Braking on dry roads is fine. I will come back for feedback on braking in wet conditions and durability over time.

The tire has been installed on a HONDA FORZA 350. It is very good on dry roads, and on the track it behaves flawlessly, allowing you to easily lean until the footpeg touches the ground.

Very good tire. Good grip on dry roads. Soft and fast warm-up. The previous tires, which were not the best (factory ones), made a huge difference with the change.
