Now you can enjoy a larger workspace as it allows you to connect 2 4K resolution monitors. The two monitors are not supported on Mac Apple M1.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Well, the dock is very good, it doesn't lag and it sends the signal perfectly. If you want it for 2 screens, get it, but if you have only one, you can find something at a better price except for a little star due to the price and the fact that it takes up 2 ports. If you have a previous generation MacBook Air, I don't recommend it at all because you won't be able to charge while working. If you have the new generation, you won't have any problem!
If you want to use more than one screen, go to this device. At least I ended up here after doing some market research. It's definitely not an economical solution, but if it's specifically for professional use, you will be satisfied.
Lightweight, discreet for my own data.
(4/5 stars as I recently acquired it, maybe I'll change it after a period of use.)
I use it on a 16" MacBook Pro with 2 external 29" monitors, exclusively for office work, and I am very satisfied.
Sometimes it crashes and doesn't charge the laptop (even though the charger is connected to the hub, maybe there is some factor at play that I haven't identified).
Other than that, it's great
I will speak from a practical perspective. I use it on a MacBook Pro M1. I was looking for a Hub that supports high-frequency display (I have an Asus 34" curved). This specific Hub has 2 HDMI inputs, one at 30 Hz and one at 60 Hz. To my surprise, the 60 Hz input outputted 100 Hz. The other inputs are as described in the product description.
What is annoying is that there is no flexibility in the cable that connects to the computer, so you don't have a choice where to place it.
In other words, you calculate a space of about 20 centimeters to the left of the connection point due to the stiffness of the cable, as if you have a ruler with slots.
The photo that the product has, trying to show cable flexibility... guess...
It does exactly what it says and advertises. I constantly have Ethernet, 2 screens, a wireless keyboard-mouse USB, and they work great.
