Add a second screen, a dual-slot SD and microSD card reader, a Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB 3.0 ports with one that can fast charge, and a USB-C port to your laptop simply by connecting the hub to any USB Type-C.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Tested successfully with Microsoft Surface Duo 2. However, after about 1 hour of continuous use, considerable heat was observed in the device and the signal easily drops if the cable is moved.
It was purchased in December 2022 to be used as a docking station for two laptops.
On both laptops, it was not possible to connect the monitor, so it ended up being used as a USB hub. On my personal laptop, when I connect it, it gives a message that the port is not suitable for transferring images. After much research, I found out that this is indeed true, but I couldn't have known before purchasing. The image is also not transferred to the work laptop. However, it works fine with the office docking station.
After 15 months, the USB ports do not always make good contact.
The temperature is normal.
I use it for a docking station with external power supply for my laptop and it works great. The USB-C goes into the laptop and you have network, external display, power, peripherals, etc.
I used it 7 times within a three-month period and the HDMI broke, even though it didn't overheat at all.
There are green horizontal lines along the screen.
Maybe the product was defective, I will replace it and come back with a new review.
It does not reinvent the wheel, good quality with basic ports.
I just came to say that although it says it outputs video from the USB-C port, it doesn't do it for me (USB-C to DisplayPort cable).
It's a corporate one, so I won't bother with changes, just that its HDMI only supports 4K@30hz, which is an epic fail, but it's something you know before buying it.
Also, the passthrough is not enough to charge a Dell at full speed, which requires around 130w. It provides less power, for those who care.
Upd: It generally heats up, keep that in mind
Works seamlessly with MacBook Pro 16 with M1 Pro. No issues with peripherals, charging, LAN, etc.
4 stars because it gets too hot, especially when connecting the HDMI.
I had some doubts at first due to certain limitations in the analysis. The limitations apply (30hz refresh rate) in 4K resolution. In FULL HD (1920 X 1080) resolution, it plays normally at 60HZ.
The ports have good distances between them so you can connect various devices.
The only negative is that it gets very hot! To the point where it is strongly felt in the hand! (In my case, using only a USB keyboard/mouse receiver + HDMI -> FULL HD + Gigabit Lan). I hope it doesn't affect its lifespan. Otherwise, it doesn't bother on the desk!
UPDATE: I am writing to say that I tried a cheaper alternative from BaseUS with the same theoretical ports and functions. The BaseUS creates a problem in the communication of the connected wireless 2.4 dongle for keyboard and mouse, due to insufficient shielding in the USB 3 ports. This DLink here does not have this issue and all wireless receivers work perfectly! So, it is very important in terms of quality because the other one is nerve-wracking!
First, the cable is small (about 10 centimeters). It had set the default to 24 hz and I didn't know why. As mentioned, it has a maximum output of 30 hz, so be careful!
I use it with a Mac mini m1 and everything is fine. I haven't connected a monitor yet, just so you know that if you do, the HDMI output is limited to 30 Hz.
Everything works great, I've had it for 3 weeks and I'm very satisfied with the Hub. I use the HDMI and two USB ports, one for a mouse and one for a keyboard, rarely the Ethernet. The only downside is that it gets hot, although it hasn't caused me any problems yet.
I have been using it for 1 week.
I have connected a second monitor to my laptop using the 3 USB type-A peripherals and a USB hub in the type-C port for additional ports, all of which are working perfectly!
Update:
After 2 months, it is still working perfectly!
I mainly use it to output a second HDMI from the laptop (4k) and for USB connections. I haven't had any disconnections so far, its performance is stable, and I am generally very satisfied with its use.
Update 5/6/21
After more than six months, it continues to function steadily, using all of its ports (except for the sdcard reader). It is also used to power the laptop via the usb-c from the charger and works very well.

Small and very practical. It has been working flawlessly for a while now

It is very good and works perfectly, but it gets too hot, I hope it can withstand it.
