Honestly, for its price, it is the simplest and most reliable option out there. I have it in my office in a spot where I often accidentally knock it down (my own fault, obviously). It hasn't suffered any damage at all!!! Especially the black one, even if it gets scratched, it doesn't show, and the white one definitely gets stained but cleans very easily. It is flexible, you can position the light wherever you want it to hit, and it stays steady without moving at all.
