  Strong grinding noises during operation and after unplugging from the socket. The top part gets hot when in use, indicating that the construction materials do not provide any thermal insulation. The metal plates are very thin and do not resemble quality construction from previous years in any way. In the first few uses, the plates did not seem to stick. On the positive side, the plates attach and detach easily. Overall, it is a simple 750W toaster that barely fits two regular-sized sandwiches.
