I got them so I wouldn't buy the well-known brand that costs at least double the money. I have them for 2 years now, I have worn them in rain, in cold, in bad conditions and the leather hasn't suffered anything because I maintain it with special wax. However, they are not for walking for hours outside because you will get tired and the sole has a crack underneath that I don't see them lasting another year.
