Pousi is the second poetry collection by Nikos Kavvadias and was first published in 1947 by A. Karavias. Since then, it has been published 4 times by Galaxias Editions (1961-1971), 16 times by Kedros Editions (1975-1989), and from October 1989 to December 2000, 13 times by Agra Editions. It contains the following 14 poems: Pousi, Kuro Siwo, Steriani Zali, Cambay`s Water, Armida, Black and White, Esmeralda, Karanti, Thalassia Panis, Federico Garcia Lorca, Thessaloniki, Southern Cross, Marea, Aladdin's Lamp. These are quatrain poems with alternating or paired rhyme. The collection is dedicated to Elga Kavvadia, and each poem individually to a different person, including writers, actors, painters, both known and anonymous.
