The Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 unlocks the full suite of features: control the lights while you are away, with voice or automations. Connect it to power and your router and then set it up in the Philips Hue app, where it updates automatically.
The Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 makes it possible to control your lights any way you want - from anywhere with an internet connection.
Schedule the activation and deactivation of your lights. Set up an automation once and the Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 remembers what you want your lights to do.
This smart hub offers even greater customization for your accessories. Choose how your smart switches, buttons, and sensors, and the Tap dial switch control your lights.
Get the full range of voice control capabilities with this smart hub. Use voice commands to turn your lights on and off with leading smart assistants like Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Assistant.
The Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 uses Zigbee to communicate with your lights and accessories. Your lights respond instantly and you will be able to control them even when your Wi-Fi is down.
Your lights create a mesh network. Each light you add acts as a repeater, allowing you to extend your lights throughout your home, both inside and outside.
Connect the Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 to the socket, connect it to your router, and follow the step-by-step instructions in the Philips Hue app. Changing your internet provider or your router? Everything is stored in the Bridge, so you won't need to set up anything again.
Wireless data transmission protocol used for two-way communication between devices. Two-way communication means that each device can receive and send a signal. The system was created in 2002 by the ZigBee Alliance, which is still involved in its development and promotion. The main feature of the new communication standard is low power consumption and simple construction at low cost. This has been achieved and is now a fact. It has a range of approximately 15 meters.
The Smart Hub is a device that serves as a central control point for your smart home devices. It typically connects to the internet and uses wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee to communicate with other smart devices, such as smart lights, thermostats, security cameras, and more.
The smart hub can be controlled via a smartphone app, a web interface, or even through voice commands using a virtual assistant like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It can also automate actions based on user preferences, such as turning on the lights when someone enters a room or adjusting the thermostat based on the time of day.
One of the advantages of using it is that it allows for easier control and automation of multiple devices from a single interface.
Overall, a Smart Hub can help simplify the management of a "smart home" and enhance the user experience.
A smart hub is a device that connects multiple smart devices in your home and allows you to control them from a central location. Some of the advantages include:

Very good, you can use it even without being connected to the wifi that the product is connected to. In one of the videos I was looking for, it mentions that you can do it without a connection, but I haven't found it yet.
The installation is necessarily done with ethernet (cable behind the router) which you connect to the Bridge and it must be permanently connected to the socket.
All cables are provided.
I bought it because the app was causing me a big problem with bluetooth. I recommend it, very good and immediate.

Quality product, simple and user-friendly, it delivers on its promises.
It is very fast since it only connects via Ethernet, but personally, I have connected it to a WiFi Extender that has a suitable port, you also have this option.
It is the heart of the Hue system, so far reliable, without any disconnections, etc.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can scan the code on the back and control it using Siri, or through Google Home for Android.
I would only like it to include something for wall mounting.
The Philips Hue Bridge is the bridge that is necessary to synchronize up to 50 Hue devices - lights.
By downloading the free Philips Hue app on your mobile, you automatically unlock millions of colors, ready-made scenarios, or scenarios exclusively yours.
As a construction, it is very high quality with 3 LEDs that inform you about the status of the bridge and a central round LED that lights up when the bridge is in operation.
In the box, you will find the bridge along with its charger and an Ethernet cable for the necessary connection to the router.
I already own:
1. Philips Hue Bridge
2. Philips Hue Smart Dimmer Switch
3. Philips Hue White And Color Ambiance Single Bulb E27
4. Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance Play Light Bar 2-pack
5. Philips Hue Smart Lightstrip 2m White and Color Ambiance Plus base pack
All of the above lighting devices will be reviewed, so if you want, check each one and get informed.
very easy installation, quality construction.
choose a corresponding quality ethernet cable category 6 or 7. (note: connection ONLY ethernet)
works in a homekit environment and so far has not shown any problems (disconnections-freezes)
immediately detects new philips devices.
works exclusively on wifi 2.4 Ghz like all smart accessories.
Price 50-60 euros, I would say relatively good compared to similar chinese ones I have (aqara) homekit version at 40-45 euros (2 years ago), which I had to reprogram relatively often.
the only downside compared to the aqara hub is that the window traps do not activate/deactivate automatically when you leave the home.
Nice design. Excellent connection with other Philips hue devices without any glitches or delays. The bridge only connects to the internet via ethernet, which makes it fast in commands, while the other Philips hue devices connect to it via zigbee, which is also extremely fast and reliable. I highly recommend it, investing in Philips hue lighting is definitely worth it.

It does what it says. Unfortunately, like all Philips Hue products, they are extremely expensive
