The filter definitely improves the water quality and keeps sediment and other impurities. In my case, in the 2 years, it didn't have any issues or leaks regarding the filter device, it was just changed to a triple filter for better filtration.

+ The Matrikx Pb1 0.5 μm filter definitely changed the taste of our water from chlorine, I don't know more, I'm not a chemist, but it definitely seems like a decent and cost-effective solution that every household should have.
If you save a little on your water, it lasts for 1 year with a filter replacement cost of only 13 euros per year.
The water pressure at the faucet did not decrease at all, although I recommend lowering it from the valve before the filter, so that the filter does not experience high pressure.

    - Now, about the base, stay away from this base. Two years later, it broke and flooded the entire kitchen. Fortunately, I was at home and managed to prevent the whole house from flooding. We have tiles on the floor, if we had wood, the entire kitchen would have needed to be replaced.
