Eventually, I downloaded the app from the play store outside of the region, and everything was fine. What can I say? Maybe it was some version for another country that I bought.   Omron is a company known for the reliability of its medical devices. Given that this specific blood pressure monitor is clinically certified by the European Hypertension Society, the result is commendable from every aspect.

  Having used other digital blood pressure monitors in the past and comparing them all to analog measurement, I can say that the measurements of this particular digital blood pressure monitor have a "deviation" (compared to analog) of up to 5mmHg (hence the 4-star rating).

  Furthermore, there are two other main advantages of this specific model:

  1. It has a function where it automatically performs 3 consecutive measurements with a 30-second interval each, and at the end, it calculates the average of these measurements. It also visually informs you if the cuff has been incorrectly placed.

  2. Through the application, the user now has a "measurement diary" on their mobile device, including systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse, categorized by year, month, week, day, and time of measurement.

  The other "additional" features are not significant or particularly important. They are just extras.
