Guys, for its price, it's incredible. Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?First of all, I am an electrician, and because I had two or three cases with electronic thermostats in the past that did not work well (they would reach the desired temperature and then to turn back on, the house had to freeze), I used a mechanical thermostat.
Reading the comments, I decided to buy this one.
I would prefer it not to require batteries and to be directly 230v, but this might create a problem with the temperature from the built-in power supply and thus affect the sensor.
When I installed it, I was shocked because it showed 3 degrees higher than two thermometers I had next to it, but in the end, I adjusted it, and with a couple of attempts, they have a 0.1-degree deviation.
So far, it works just fine.

To give you an example, in 5 days the temperature was 22 degrees in the same place, the siemens worked a total of 4 hours while the stege worked 9 hours.

At -0.2 from the desired temperature, it activates the boiler, and at +0.2 it stops the operation. Time will tell about its durability. The temperature sensor shows the actual room temperature (checked with 2 separate room thermometers). If there is a deviation, it can be calibrated.

You set the temperature you want, and as soon as it reaches it, it turns off... As soon as it drops by 0.2 degrees, it gives the command again.... It requires a little attention when the batteries need to be changed.... Super easy connection... Worth it..
For those who have difficulty changing the batteries, there is a way to avoid it.... You take a small power supply that outputs 3 volts and connect it to the battery contacts, being careful with the polarity plus and minus... and you are ready... no more batteries and the hassle of opening the thermostat...

The switch kept turning on and off every 3 to 4 minutes, and this was supposedly for energy saving. While this thermostat allows you to set the temperature you want, it turns on and when it reaches the temperature, it turns off. Just like that. The thermostat turns off at 0.2 degrees higher than what you set it to. I should mention that it has a light, while the previous one didn't. My bones got warmed up with this thermostat. I saw the true light!!! For the money, it's the best. I wouldn't change it. The only downside is that it opens a bit difficultly.

I recently made this mistake in a country house and, on top of that, I found it working non-stop and the circulator as well, because apparently the thermostat got stuck, obviously after a power outage. If I had left the old one with the switch, this wouldn't have happened... So be careful with the two AAA batteries or remember to also turn off the switch at the boiler room in case of prolonged absence.

In 3 installations that were made in 3 different houses, we had to clarify that when connected to an oil boiler for radiators and in order for the temperature to work like an air conditioner, the temperature setting had to be adjusted to Cool for heat. As you increase the desired temperature, for example 22 degrees, as soon as this temperature is reached, the room that has 20 degrees should stop.
Putting it on Heat works the other way around.
I do not know why they have configured it this way.
