This book attempts to provide a clear, thorough, coherent, and comprehensive view of the central aspects that contributed to the "Imperfect" way of building and operating the Eurozone, highlighting, on one hand, the determining factors of the creation and exacerbation of increasing Macroeconomic imbalances and, on the other hand, the Political tensions and Social impacts that appear both within the individual member states and in the Eurozone as a unified entity. The analysis and examination of the events and data are accessible and at the same time structured in such a way that even technically economic issues are described and analyzed simplistically and easily understood through empirical examples. The originality of the book lies in the fact that it offers a different insight, examining in various ways the systematic study of the evolutionary process of European (Monetary (€)) Integration, extensively using a combination of Economic-Political-Social factors, through the tools: (a) of Macroeconomic theory, (b) of Political Science, International Political Economy, and International Relations, and (c) of the elements of Sociology, based on Interdisciplinary criteria, which contributed both individually and collectively to this particularly original, daring, and unique endeavor internationally, of the ("Imperfect") Building of European (Monetary (€)) Integration.
