The RS-30EQ features a powerful CR type equalizer based on the GE 12AT7, which has been approved by the US Army J.A.N. standard and can reproduce very high-quality and clear sound without the addition of NFB. To avoid degradation of sound quality using NFB type, a high-quality Orient-Core power transformer was initially developed for the RS-30EQ, perfectly sealed to isolate noise from the transformer. The best available high-quality audio components were also selected to keep RIAA curve deviation below +/-0.2%.
