As customer service, Samsung is the worst I have ever seen.
It got water damage from poor sealing after a screen replacement at an authorized service, and they do not accept it.

Very good in everything but not with 950 euros that it costs here! I got it refurbished from a well-known French company in Greece, like Skroutz for 390€ and I don't think it's worth more than that! It is Samsung's flagship for 2020 but now quite an old model, which still performs well (although new models like the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G 8/128Gb, for example, a 2024 model, compete in processor speed performance and have a future ahead of them with operating system upgrades while this one stops at Android 13 and that's it, it won't have any more). The only downside is of course its battery that drains very quickly, even on standby, without doing anything, and charges in about an hour with the original 45W charger and in two and a half hours with a wireless charger (from 0 to 100%). In other words, if you don't have a good power bank with you when you leave home, don't dare to drain the battery by constantly using it because until you get back home you won't have a mobile phone even for SMS since it will have died due to battery drain (it lasts 4 to 5 hours with intensive use, video, audio, calls, social media, etc.). I mainly use it for watching movies due to its unparalleled image and sound quality (which is stereo and very powerful and clear) for demanding games not even as a thought since I have noticed that with excessive use it tends to overheat and lag (so with resource-demanding games, it might play them and then crash since I have it as a used refurbished and because I don't know what quality of refurbishment work the French who sold it to me have done, I don't even dare to think about playing demanding games, a solitaire and much of it, to be sure)
After 2 months of use, I am completely satisfied. I bought it because it was on sale, although it is a relatively old model, but for the simple use I want it for, I am more than satisfied. Very good and clear photos and the only downside I would say is the usual suspect battery, although it still lasts me 1.5 days with normal use.
Fantastic mobile phone, it may still be expensive but it's worth its money. Great screen with perfect resolution and colors. It doesn't freeze or break down!! It's fast on the web and if we had better 5G speeds as a country it would fly!!! It's no coincidence that its price doesn't drop. Only its battery needs a little proper management because it can run out a little faster than expected. Of course, it's logical because it has a 6.9-inch screen with a powerhouse processor. Anyway, with 1 charge per day, it lasts.
I bought it when it first came out with the bonus of its Bluetooth headphones... It's no coincidence that after almost two years it's still at the same price of €1050, and without the headphones as a gift anymore.
A premium tool that justifies its cost in every way.. (except for battery life).

But now that I've had it in my hands for almost a month, coming from a note10plus, the difference is huge and just holding it in your hand you can tell the difference in quality.

Very good screen resolution and incredibly fast. The size and weight are comfortable for me. Nice photos and good video, the only negative is the battery. From 6 am with 120 hz, it went from 100 to 30 by 4 pm. Other than that, it's great.
Purchase on 23/8/2021 for 630 euros with VAT exemption...It's a beast, especially at the current price!!! Incredible screen, very good camera, strong sound...battery lasts around one day with about 30% left at night without gaming, but constantly on social media and using it!
Impressive and beautiful! Tremendous speed, it reached 5g near Eleftherios Venizelos airport, I'm uploading a photo with the speed test I did. With the charger, it goes from 10% to 100% in 49 minutes with 45w. Overall, it's very fast. Perfect for calls. The camera is very good for a mobile phone (for those who want professional photos, it's better to go for a DSLR or mirrorless camera with lenses that cost 2 or 3 times the price of the S20 Ultra) and can't be compared to any other smartphone camera. The screen is perfect! The battery life depends on usage, but it can easily last for 24 hours with normal use and 4g. The speakers are excellent! For those who love large smartphones, it's one of the best in this category. The initial price of 1400 is not only for this phone, but for any phone. Personally, I think...
In a few words, the rule "you get what you pay for" is confirmed.... At the 800 Euros I got it, I think it's one of the very good choices someone can make to get a good phone. Now I'm not getting into the logic of "mine is 0.2 mSec faster" etc. etc.
After a month of use and coming from the Xiaomi MI 10 Pro, I have to say that it's worth every penny. The screen is perfect, with no words to describe the vivid colors and impeccable resolution. The camera is amazing, with a fantastic zoom that doesn't compromise the resolution. Videos are also great, like they're from another planet. The speed is incredible, with all apps open and no lag. The only downside is the battery, which unfortunately doesn't last very long, but with such a great screen it's somewhat understandable. Overall, I highly recommend it, especially at the price it's currently at!
One of the most misunderstood phones on the market, which of course benefits those who decide to buy it now...
The SCREEN, having finally found the golden ratio between curved and flat screen at Samsung. A problem for those with small hands, a delight for those who love big and satisfying screens (especially when we're talking about Samsung's AMOLED).
A lot of fuss about the fact that 120 Hz doesn't work on UHD but only on FHD. You don't see any difference in resolution, it's ridiculous what's being said all the time.
Autofocus issues have been solved with updates and they constantly chase the best camera, let them go to HUAWEI which is top (only there though).
Fantastic UI, very helpful DEX, everything is very fast on a functional level.
The battery also fully covers me. As for whether you'll need to charge it during the day: I use my phone all day and when I return home around 8pm, I'm at 30%.
For me, at the initial purchase price, it was overpriced.
At the current price (840), it's a very good purchase.

It impresses me that I read perfect comments about the camera from everyone!! Is it possible for a 1200 euro phone to not focus correctly and produce blurry close-ups? I won't even discuss when the lighting is not ideal!!

I have had it in my possession for 5 1/2 months. It is flawless in every aspect (battery, camera, video, never had any glitches and of course an amazing screen).
Very good! The battery is highly commented on. I find it perfect. The phone is smart and initially consumes battery until it adjusts to the user.

I have had it for the last month. At first, it had issues with the battery and would overheat, but after the update, the phone runs smoothly and the battery lasts me a day and a half, even with heavy usage. As for the quality, Samsung really delivers. I had the Note 9 before, but the screen on this one is even better and the fingerprint scanner is lightning fast. The Bixby routine is also a great feature that helps you discover new things about your phone. I plan on keeping it for at least 4 years. The camera has also improved significantly, as has the video quality and sound. The only downside is the camera bump, but a good case solves that problem. And let's face it, in 2020, the audio jack is outdated. If you're willing to spend the money, Samsung is definitely worth it. If you're looking for a cheaper option, go for Xiaomi. Samsung is in a league of its own.
After the P40 Pro, it's time for me to go back to the old Sammy days! The phone is more than exceptional... we're all waiting for what else Samsung has in store... to fix its battery!

I have had the device for 3 weeks and the phone is great!! However, the battery life is a big issue as it lasts at best 1-1/2 days.
Many voice messages on Messenger and Viber are not audible to the recipient. This occurs with a high frequency of approximately 1 in 10 messages.
I am waiting to see when Samsung will decide to treat us Europeans equally with the Americans. According to what I read and see, it could also have Qualcomm's processor in Europe. But as long as we remain victims and continue to go to Samsung, I do not see their behavior changing towards us.
The battery drains quickly at 5000, and the photos and videos are generally mediocre. We wasted our money.
I am a proud owner of the S8. I wanted to upgrade because after 1 year, the S8's battery lost 15% and after 3 years, it lost 40%. I also had issues with fast charging, as sometimes it would work with the Type-C cable and sometimes it wouldn't, so I had to unplug and plug it back in to make it work. But overall, I was very satisfied with the phone and the company.
So when the S20 was released, I thought it was time for an upgrade and unfortunately, being blinded by the Samsung label, I didn't watch any videos on YouTube or read any reviews online. The only thing I knew was that the phone didn't have a headphone jack, which is unacceptable for Samsung, considering they mocked Apple for not having one all these years, and now they did the same thing. They claimed that removing the headphone jack would give them more space for the battery, etc. However, I've seen mid-range phones from the same company that still have a headphone jack and support a 5000mAh to 6000mAh battery. So that really disappointed me personally because I'm a big fan of music and I listen to it for many hours a day on my phone. AirPods are not an option for me. So there, Samsung lost me. Other companies may do it, but we're talking about a phone that costs 1400 euros. You can buy a car with that money, but not a phone with a headphone jack from a company that mocked Apple for the same thing.
Now let's talk about the good and bad things about the phone.
+ The screen is amazing. The best I've ever seen in my life, and that was one of the reasons why I wanted to get a Samsung product.
+ The phone is quite fast, especially with the 120Hz refresh rate.
+ Personally, I like the software and I haven't had any problems with it.
Negatives:
- The cameras are generally good, and you can take some of the best photos of your life with a mobile device. But when you pay 1400 euros and the autozoom is shaky as if someone is hitting the phone from above, it's really disappointing. The 8K videos have no difference compared to 4K and they take up a lot of space. At night, the phone takes good photos, but I've seen the P40 in many videos and it's much better at night, although I don't have personal experience with it. But compared to the S8, the photos are not as chaotic, especially at night with the night mode. Money plays a role here (I remind you, it costs 1400 euros).
- Once again, we are cursed with the worst processor in a flagship phone from a big company, along with several other countries. The internet is full of criticism for Samsung's unacceptable product, which they proudly put in their best phones. The Exynos is worse in everything and affects everything. The difference in battery life with the Snapdragon is 25% (experts say it, not me). It affects the cameras and the overall performance of the phone. Also, the phone overheats excessively and you feel like it's going to catch fire in your hands. All of this, combined with the 1400 euros price tag, makes the whole thing ridiculous. Samsung itself, for the first time in its home country of Korea, released the S20 with the Snapdragon processor. That alone shows how problematic the Exynos is and that they were probably afraid of backlash in Korea. But in other countries, they didn't really care because money is above everything. They will sell their product as much as they can unless people stop buying it.
- Battery life. Honestly, I've had phones with 4000mAh or less and they lasted much longer. I set the ultra to 60hz and still, at the end of the day, I have to charge its "5000 mAh" battery. And maybe their garbage processor that they have been loading us with for years plays a role in this. At 120hz, it takes 4-5 hours to charge.
All of this makes me believe that the s20 ultra is not worth its money despite its amazing screen and good speakers that I forgot to mention earlier. 1400 euros in combination with a failed camera, the worst processor in a mobile phone from a big company, mediocre battery performance, no headphone jack (unacceptable) make me feel foolish. And before I conclude, I want to mention that the note 20 ultra, which will be released in a few days and should be the best phone from the company, will also have the same Exynos processor and the phone will cost around 1300 euros if I'm not mistaken. Many may wonder why it will cost 100 euros less than the s20 ultra. Maybe Samsung wants to present it as its flagship phone for 2020, but they probably made some cuts. It will have 3 cameras instead of 4. No upgrade in the processor, but they will give it the same one as the s20 series, even though they know that the Exynos 990 is problematic and has nothing to do with the Snapdragon. Also, the battery will be 4500 mAh instead of 5000 like the S20 ultra, and 12 GB of RAM instead of 16. The only thing it will have is the ability to be at 120 Hz and have ultra HD resolution, which the S20 didn't allow you to have, and I forgot to mention that earlier. Yes, for 1400 euros, the phone didn't give you that capability. But probably for these cuts, the "better phone of theirs" will cost 1300 euros. Personally, never again Exynos. It's offensive.
That's all from me. I hope before anyone buys it, they watch many videos because I made the mistake of overlooking this major factor.
There are not many words to describe this phone. A powerful computer in the size of your palm. The best camera ever, especially at night, and the best video ever, under all conditions. Take a photo in complete darkness with night mode and you will remember me. Unfortunately, it costs too much money, but so do some competitors who only sell their logo.. no phone should cost so much.. However, if someone can afford it, they will be completely satisfied.
I have had the phone for a month and something sounds very good, it is comfortable for reading and watching videos, but if it falls down it breaks easily.

I've had it for about a month. It costs as much as a good All-In-One PC. But it's also a powerful mini-computer in your hand. With a screen that fits a lot, even the main screen rotates horizontally. With very good resolution and speed in executing each function. The high screen refresh rate of 120Hz gives a unique feel to the movement. Photos and videos are very advanced, good zoom, automatic photo enhancement. While taking a photo, it has automatically taken more shots and selects the best one or you can choose another or make it a mini-video or GIF. I can keep writing and it doesn't end. What someone needs to know is that we are talking about a large-sized phone, it requires large palms and has some weight. The battery lasts, but everything depends on the reason the battery is consumed, i.e. screen, applications, games, etc. which, however, you can control and avoid large consumptions, especially those that happen without your knowledge.
Easy connection with Windows and there is also Samsung DEX which makes your phone a normal desktop and you can work with many windows open and the phone to do its own work in parallel, so it's like having both a phone and a PC or connecting it with HDMI to a large touchpad screen. All these make it a professional phone and mini-computer that you always have with you and ultimately becomes an extension of your hand.
For now, the only problem I faced is the increased battery consumption, resulting in the battery appearing not to last. However, the phone itself warned me about applications that consume battery without having them open or without opening them at all. They had been transferred from the previous phone. I cleaned them up, adjusted them, and now there is no problem. I'm not saying that the battery lasts for days, but at this stage, it doesn't bother me to last more than a day. However, the battery does not limit its use and I can play games, I want the screen to be bright, I shoot videos and I never run out of battery during the day. It warms up sometimes. For example, when I work the camera a lot. The camera takes very good shots and I haven't seen the problems reported by others. Now, if it breaks easily, I don't know, I have it in a Smart Led Cover case, it fell once or twice on tiles with the case but nothing happened.
I think the phone is in a different category and whoever wants to buy it and spend so much money should really know what they are doing and why they want it.
