Description

Goal, violence, and prison. Love, romance, and friendship. Intrigue and manipulation. Racism and solidarity. Backstage and power games. Anarchy. Scouting. Self-sacrifice, death, and rebirth. Intense emotions, contradictions, and unprecedented experiences are experienced by the protagonists of volume 03 in 1908, in Athens during the Balkan Wars.

"Leap into eternity" is divided into two sub-stories. In the first part, the explosive character of Giorgos Kalafatis is depicted, the first heated episodes on the fields - which lead the founder of Panathinaikos behind bars - and his tough battles, both on the field and behind the scenes.
In the second part, the protagonist is Kostis Tsiklitiras.
The story takes place on multiple fronts: from the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm to the battlefield in the mountains of Epirus.
From fame, medals, and laurels, to the mundanity of war. From a life full of joy and success, to death.

Just like in the previous volumes, in volume 03, the illustrations are accompanied by explanatory texts, historical revelations, and documents, such as unpublished texts and photographs. This time, one revelation stands out: the history of Piraeus football, as it has never been written before! Because respect is a non-negotiable principle for Panathinaikos. And respect means - among other things - knowing the history of your opponent.
