It neither throws water nor anything else.
The problem, as others have mentioned, is the coffee and its quantity. You have to empirically find out how much you should put and how much you should press, which is different for each coffee.
From this perspective, it is tiring, plus you have to clean afterwards, which makes creating a freddo "prohibitive".
So it is clearly a matter of (free) time. If you don't have it, it's better to use ready-made capsules, otherwise it is very likely that you will make better and cheaper coffee.
Personally, I no longer have time, so I will use it maybe on weekends.
The price is indeed a bit high, but it is definitely not a waste of money.

Unfortunately, it does not do what it promises. The water was falling at a faster rate than the filtration because I had a constant water leakage from the capsule, resulting in watery coffee and having to clean up water every time

I am quite satisfied, although it doesn't quite achieve the creaminess of the coffee. The key to not splashing water is the placement of the correct filter inside the capsule (with the many holes in my case), the good fit of the silicone lid on the capsule, and definitely the correct position in the coffee machine, meaning with the hole at the 6 o'clock position. All of this is also shown in the company's video.

One of the best purchases I have made!
It takes a few tries to understand the amount of coffee you need to put in to get a nice result, but then it becomes very easy.
And much more economical (and eco-friendly) than buying ready-made capsules.I highly recommend it.

Excellent idea but unfortunately the capsule does not work. The machine leaks water everywhere, inside and outside the cup, and by the time you make the coffee, the entire countertop is flooded. The coffee comes out diluted and additionally with coffee grounds because the capsule fails to filter it. And all this on the first try. No mention of a larger scale. It should be noted that I followed the instructions carefully, tried both filters, even both together, and still the same issues. The only way I found for the capsule to work properly is to place a paper filter on top of its metal filter. It's a shame because it's really an excellent idea.

It doesn't do anything it promises :-( I made many tests after watching instructional videos and using different filters. It splatters around, doesn't create a foam on the coffee, the taste of the coffee is bad, and worst of all, it caused a problem with the coffee maker's functionality. I went back to using the plastic ones, which are much better.

I bought it in combination with the Vaccuum Coffee Jar and the Delonghi KG210 Electric Coffee Grinder. I fill the grinder's container with about 60g of coffee beans, set it to 12 and fine (3), and with the filter, using the fewest holes, I achieve incredible espresso from the capsules.

It easily gets dirty around due to the coffee, sometimes the machine can "throw" water and spill on the counter, and it is much more time-consuming than using a ready-made capsule or buying a coffee. I tried a box of KIMBO Gold hoping to find some quantity and texture for at least a minimal creaminess, but nothing.. the result was like a mediocre French coffee with a very average frother... (the dolce gusto is permanently withdrawn and a waste of 20 euros for the capsule)

The coffee is good. There is an issue with the lids that causes the capsule to leak juice around no matter how carefully you put it on. It is annoying. I tried other lids and this problem doesn't exist.

During my use for some time that I have it, I have to say..... It needs to be adjusted how much to fill the capsule. It could have some indication inside, but it doesn't. If you fill it with more coffee, the water doesn't flow correctly. So you have to do it empirically.

Excellent product, exactly what I was looking for. Metal capsules, their lids are of excellent quality, flawless operation. I did the first cleaning in the machine itself with 3 cycles at the highest scale per capsule. No smell, no metallic taste, excellent purchase, you forget about ready-made capsules and make whatever coffee you want! I haven't tried it yet with powdered milk, so I have no opinion. EDIT: It works fine with powdered milk too.
