I bought this specific device to replace an atlas filtri depural top that I had for 2 years because some 10-inch filters I used did not fit well in the atlas. This filter housing is from the American company Watts. Watts is one of the top companies in the field and one of the oldest, since around 1870. The filter housing includes a full metal faucet, without any plastic parts on the faucet. It is thinner than the atlas and overall has a very sturdy construction. It also includes a tube of about 1.5 meters and a water distributor that screws onto the faucet, of very good quality. It also includes a connector if the faucet has internal or external threads. The device does not include a tightening key, but it is not needed. With hand tightening, there is absolutely no leakage, no matter the water pressure, unlike the atlas which required a very strong tightening with the key, so strong that it hurt your hand. With this specific Watts housing, you can easily insert and remove the filter by unscrewing it by hand.
One very positive aspect is that the housing has all the certifications from WQA and NSF for its plastic parts, and something that impressed me is that even the tube that the water passes through is NSF/ANSI 61 certified... Something that the atlas did not have. Very positive impressions, very pleasant and easy to use and install. Inside this specific housing, I have placed the AQUAMETIX filter from Primato, and the water is the best I have ever tasted. Without exaggeration. And I have tried many filters... From Olympus and Camelot, to Matrikx, Eiger, Pentek, Doulton... They all do the job, but none give water like Aquametix. Whoever gets it will remember me. Look up Cerametix and Aquametix a bit, and you will see what filters we are talking about...
In the following link, you will see photos of the device and also of the Aquametix filter that I have combined with it. The link is from Google Photos, so just copy-paste it into a browser.
