I bought this filter for the village so we can have clean water without constantly needing to buy bottled water. Since I couldn't find any instructions in the box either, and probably many might have questions about the installation, I will leave an informal "instruction manual" in case it helps someone in the future.
1. To open it, hold the lid and unscrew the one with the holes to remove it. 2. The filter, as far as I understand, can be inserted either way; it doesn't have a top or bottom, it just goes into the center of the plastic inside (don't forget to remove the plastic wrap). 3. We put the lid back on, and to screw it on, hold from the top and while pressing down, start screwing with your hand and finish with the special tool until it tightens enough (otherwise, it will drip) as shown in the photo. 4. For the connection to the faucet, I put the washers (black rubber rings); I placed one between the faucet and the adapter it has, and another from the adapter to the small valve that comes in the box. (The arrows in the photo) 5. To attach the hose to the valve, unscrew it completely, pass the hose through the "hook," place the hose in the socket, and then screw it back on. You may need a tool (like a wrench) to tighten it well.
Extra:
1. First, I apologize for the terminology and descriptions; I am not a great expert, and I hope you can understand. 2. The pressure is very good and responds immediately when you turn on the faucet (only on the first use it takes a little time to fill). 3. At first, it dripped for me too, but after reading the comments, I saw that you need to push it down as I mentioned earlier. 4. Before connecting the hose, position it in the direction you want so that it doesn't obstruct too much (turn it a little so that it "twists" towards the wall). 5. At the connection of the adapter with the faucet, it drips a little when I turn on the faucet with high pressure, but this is not a big problem (since it falls in the same spot and doesn't drip when the faucet is closed). Maybe a little tightening will fix it. 6. Generally, I haven't tested it enough to have a good understanding of the problems, but it seems to have potential. It is quite large in size, but personally, it doesn't bother me. I don't know how long it will last over time. 7. I don't know how often the filter needs to be changed, but according to comments, it should be changed once a year (I assume with daily use). In my case, since it is in the village, it might last a little longer. The replacement is quite cheap (27-30 euros from what I see).
It was quite a struggle for me to open it to the point where I wondered if I am stupid or something is wrong. It should have a sheet with instructions, not even on the internet does it show what you should do with the pdf. However, the important thing is that the water smells, I tried the replacement filter it has and both have the same issue. I let them run for 20-25 minutes and then filled 2 freshly washed glass bottles and the taste is unbearable. The same taste in a glass as well. In the past, I had a faucet filter and had no problems for years, now with this one I don't know what's going on but the result is terrible.
Excellent for simple home use. Its filter is 0.5, which means it doesn't filter everything, only the coarse particles. However, this is also an advantage because the water has excellent flow. I think for Athens, where the water is soft and quite clean, it works perfectly
Neutral tasteless chlorine water with strong pressure and flow, the quite large size is a negative, which is of course also a positive because it cleans a total of 5000 liters or 12 months and fills a glass of water quickly without waiting 10 seconds like with smaller filters. As others mentioned, you check the little hose if it's properly in place initially, and when you screw it towards the end, you need to press it down; I placed the device on the floor and someone pressed it from above while I tightened it with the wrench included in the package, zero leaks. The manufacturer states on the site that you should let it run for 15 minutes when installing a new filter; I noticed that it takes a few days for the carbon to absorb water to start filtering properly, so don't rush, the filter needs time and to run enough water (water your decorative plants at first). It is quite a quality device; what didn't seem quality to me is the classic small filter that screws onto the end of the faucet, which I didn't use but put my old one from the faucet and everything is fine. The only thing I didn't find on the company's site is that I don't see any international certification from NSF International or WQA (Water Quality Association) or any organization. (purchase of plastic device)
I am a student and I bought the product last year on Black Friday. I can say that it has completely solved my problems as I was forced to carry six packs of water every week. Easy installation, easy to use, good taste of water
Although there were no instructions, the box had a QR code. You scan it and it shows you how to connect the filter. Of course, it is in English, but the pictures help a lot. It wasn't difficult. At first, the water has a smell. So, wash the dishes, water the flowers for a short period of time. After that, the water will be normal. It runs strong, fills the pot quickly, but be careful not to get wet :) The replacement is inside, take out the protective bag. We have a lot of minerals in the water, I hope it will help. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.
Very good, I have bought two, no issues. The only thing is that as soon as you change the filter, it needs an extra gasket so that unfiltered water doesn't pass through
Purchased along with a water filtration system for the home. This one was installed in the store and the taste of the water improved a lot. It became more neutral
Good but I didn't like that the base was made of chrome-plated hard plastic, next time I would prefer the model that is all plastic with a transparent top piece, because the plastics that are chrome-plated are hard and break easily and do not give me the feeling of durability over time.
Fantastic filter and I didn't expect it to be so big, and the installation was easy and it came with two different faucet adapters. At first, you want everything to be tight (not strong) and to put the gasket (rubber band) inside the plastic cap from the point where the screwing starts (see photos). It made a tremendous difference in the water, it became one of my favorites.
Excellent. The only minor negative is that it didn't come with instructions, at first it seemed like it was missing something but with your comments recommending pressing while screwing, there is no leakage anymore. I let the water run for a bit before the first use. Value for money.
I got it because of its smaller size compared to some others and indeed it is because it did not fit in the bathroom. Very good faucet. Worth its money
It was purchased for a store where the pipes are in poor condition, and this option was preferred over removing and installing new ones. It has good flow, and I bought it at a good price
A good and economical choice. Finally, the dirtiness was removed from the water and replaced for 2 days by a lightweight plastic, which disappeared with its use or we got used to it. Everything is fine though
Initially, the product is plastic and not stainless steel as I thought for some reason (if it was stainless steel obviously it wouldn't be so cheap). The flow is quite good, it is somewhat bulky but generally okay, there is space. The water smelled a little plastic at first, but the smell quickly disappeared and now everything is fine. It has happened to me before with a filter of another brand
It is value for money. It has a clear positive impact on the taste of water. In Thessaloniki, while before nobody used to drink water from the tap, now everyone does.
I have had it for about a month. It seems to be of good quality construction. Of course, part of the base's interior is made of plastic, but it doesn't bother me much. The taste of the water is very good, and the flow of the water is quite strong. I believe it is worth its money. Now, as many have said and it is true... If you don't want to have leaks during the assembly, as you screw the stainless steel lid onto the base, put your hand on the top and press. Press downwards and screw at the same time.
Very good and easy assembly even though it doesn't have instructions. You just need to press down on the filter as you screw it in. No problem, the water is fine.
I had difficulty with the installation. I put it with a pre-existing countertop faucet, but it doesn't have anything to say about it. I screwed it 8-10 times and unscrewed it again the same way. It was leaking everywhere, as one review says. I used Teflon tape, Teflon thread. Nothing. The threading is plastic with plastic. Finally, on the 8th or 9th try, by chance, I pressed the stainless steel lid while screwing it. After that, not a drop. And the flow is incredibly strong. I was desperate with a filter that filled 0.5L in 3 minutes (I was using bottled water from the cabinet). Instructions are missing. The complaints about leakage are justified. I was ready to return it too. I adapted it with the appropriate adapters to the countertop faucet. It works perfectly. With amazing flow. It would be good to provide assembly instructions and the instruction that it is better to press the top lid while screwing. Beyond that, it's worth every euro. It arrived very quickly, on the expected delivery date. I would highly recommend it!
The filter housing is bulky but expected since it is 10". The switch is plastic and I don't see it having much life ahead of it. I would not recommend the filter in any case, I tried a filter from another company and the difference was huge.
Excellent. No leaks, installation in a few minutes. Those of you who write negative comments, be careful, maybe you are doing something wrong. Be careful not to tighten it too much because it won't tighten. Oh, and don't forget to remove the nylon packaging from the filter.
The water from the device comes out colorless, odorless, tasteless, in other words, as it should be. The device is stainless and aesthetically pleasing (although I have to say that it was a bit larger than expected). At first, I hadn't tightened it well and it was leaking water, but after the necessary tightening, I didn't encounter any problems.
I read that the installation is easy, but we had a little difficulty as it had no instructions at all. We had to let it run for 20-30 minutes to get rid of the strange taste.
It has been very convenient for me. I also have a device that goes under the sink with 4 filters and the taste of the water is quite the same. I think it is a very convenient solution for up to 2 people.
