Additionally, your data and media are secured with ramp loading design and a shock sensor. The P300 hard drive is available in capacities up to 6 TB.
A powerful storage medium
The P300 is ideal for graphic designers and professionals in creative departments seeking high performance. It is available in capacities up to 6 TB, with high read and write speeds, as well as a security design.
High performance and reliability
The dual-stage actuator of the P300, available in models with capacities ranging from 2 TB to 6 TB, enhances positioning accuracy by counteracting the potential effects of vibrations on head track alignment. The design contributes to greater accuracy and speed in reading and writing, as well as immediate data access.
Enhanced Access Performance
The performance of read/write data access sequences is further enhanced through innovative techniques that minimize head movements and disk rotations. The optimized data access sequence improves performance and minimizes the mechanical workload on the disk.

Just before the warranty expired, it suddenly crashed.
I have it on a Unraid server, so I didn't lose anything.
I didn't like the sudden crash because if it has any errors in the smart, I immediately get notified.
It reset itself and also reset the power on hours.
Today, I sent it for warranty and I'm waiting to see what they will respond.
Edit:
Everything is fine with the warranty. In 7 working days, I had a new one in my hands without any cost. Since I didn't lose any data (due to the operating system and backup), it's a minor inconvenience. I wouldn't buy it again, of course, for €20-30 less than a WD red
A few days ago, I ended up buying a Toshiba due to their excellent reliability, and because I have never been satisfied with Western Digital and don't even want to discuss Seagate... I have had all brands, and only Toshiba managed to work 24/7 for 8 consecutive years in a recorder. It is still working, but now 1TB is not enough. So, I went for the one with 4TB. I see everyone talking about speeds, but I am satisfied. I want it mainly for storing all my music, photos, and programs, basically a database! However, I would not recommend it for the system. But I believe it is the ultimate value for money for storage! If anything happens, I will come back!
I bought 2 to make backup videos and photos. I put one in and in the first hour of operation it crashed and took about 2TB of photos and family videos. I've never had a worse hard drive in my life. Unacceptable.
It is SMR technology, which means low speeds, even though it has a larger cache. Give an extra 4-5 euros and get this one here. I made a mistake as I didn't know that it was an SMR when I bought it
I also didn't know that the disk is SMR. When transferring multiple files together, the speed is slower than the CMR. It has high speeds only when transferring a single file. The classic disk https://www.skroutz.gr/s/11871386/Toshiba-P300-1TB-Bulk.html that I also have is better in terms of speed.
Quiet and cool, perfect for long term storage. It automatically goes into sleep mode after a few minutes of being idle, just like Toshiba external hard drives. This significantly extends its lifespan but has a disadvantage compared to other drives as it takes a few seconds to start up again. On the other hand, when used continuously without going into sleep mode, it performs well as a fast HDD (100-150 MB/s write)
Attention, the disk is of the SMR type and there was a scandal because the consumer was unaware (and I also got caught up) because SMR disks are slower than conventional disks.
I had an older 2TB from the same company and everything was fine, so I bought a 4TB to supplement the volume of files I have, but the transfer speeds dropped several times to 60-70MB/s on the new one, while on the old one it was consistently over 100MB/s.
It may work for any user who wants it for simple file storage because it is large and cheap and the speed doesn't affect much in this aspect (luckily for me), but if someone has large games or files that require some speed to load, it would be good to reconsider and look for another solution.
Toshiba released a list of disks that are SMR, but after the scandal was revealed, more information can be found here:
