    The filtered water has a bad smell and taste. If I could compare it to something, the smell reminds me of pool water. The water that comes directly from the tap is much better, and I continued to drink that, essentially stopping the use of the filter almost immediately after I tried it. I don't know if it's the replacement part or the cartridge's fault. I had purchased this specific replacement (brand/model) in the past and when it was placed in a different (plastic) filter, I didn't encounter any similar problem. Disappointing purchase...
