It has warm light, with new batteries very strong and with the way it turns on/off by screwing/unscrewing the head of the flashlight, you can focus or enlarge the area covered by the light. It is also all metal, slim and lightweight and very durable. I had such a maglite in the army and it withstood all external conditions and then lasted me maybe 15 years. Now that I lost it, I got a similar one to always have with me for my work (construction sites) and in times of need. Be aware that it consumes its batteries relatively quickly and then the light output drops where it becomes more "faint."

Reliable little old-school flashlight. Comfortable yellow light with a lantern function and focuses to see further. I have it in the motorcycle toolbox and it has served many evenings as the candle on the table.
