The grill in relation to the money it costs is top. Simple construction but has very good resistance. In 40 minutes I grilled 9 pork skewers, thick skewers. The meats were very tender. The first time you set the resistance to 5 and then grill at 4 or 4.5. The tray inside is for grilling vegetables, not for the fats that others have written. I put aluminum foil and a little water inside. Overall, I was very satisfied because it didn't suddenly break in less than a year, one day as soon as I plugged it in, the general power went out
Value for money product, I bought it hastily (at €19.90) on Clean Monday because, due to pregnancy, we couldn't make noise with a regular grill. We grilled ribs and steaks, some vegetables and bread... everything was great!
It's perfect for grilling, for example, your steaks on a Sunday or your fish.
It fits under the extractor hood, but I prefer to grill outside!
It can be completely detached, so you can wash all the parts well, and overall it's a great product.

Update August 2021: The grill started acting up after ten uses, with the thermostat malfunctioning (showing temperature and then shutting off), resulting in taking one and a half hours to grill four corn cobs. I threw it away without hesitation because, okay, we saved money on those ten uses since we didn't order takeout... I didn't even bother looking for service, I'll just do some research before my next purchase, not like this one.
After the purchase, it kept blowing the fuse and was replaced. After 8 months of not working well, it is doing the same thing again. It has a leakage problem or the resistance...
It worked fantastically for about 10 times! Then it started to trip the breaker. I removed the ground and it worked a little longer until something happened and the thermostat turns on for 5 seconds and then off, resulting in it not being able to reach the desired cooking temperature! I see that this is a common issue with this grill! It's ready for the trash now! What a shame!

After 5 months of sporadic use, the safety switch started to trip when adjusting the thermostat. After 8 months, the heating element burned out. It was a low-priced product, but...
I give it 2 stars and I am very flexible even though at this price, what expectations can one have. It was purchased as a last-minute solution for 2 people so that we could say we grilled something. Initially, I see many positive comments and I wonder, have you really grilled satisfactorily with this thing or are you just saying it so that it doesn't seem like you wasted your money? Well, initially I use the grill on my balcony. If even a gentle breeze blows, it doesn't grill even with a request, it is extremely weak. Of course, I have done whatever trick I could think of to help it, mainly by wrapping it around and up to a height of 10-15 centimeters with aluminum foil so that I don't have such a big heat loss. Useless, it only helped about 10%. Secondly, the build quality. I don't mind that it is cheap, I didn't have high expectations for 15 euros. However, I am very bothered by the danger of this construction. The thermostat is decorative and dangerous as every time it opens/closes, it emits a blue flame and smells. The bottom of the grill is so thin that I'm afraid it will puncture and the water I put in it to prevent the fats from sticking will spill and I will have to scrub it (and then it will definitely puncture immediately). Finally, even under these conditions and with tricks to try to keep some heat, the grilling is clearly completely uneven. In the center, where it has the largest heating element, it grills satisfactorily, about 5-7 centimeters in diameter in total. The rest of the surface is almost cold. The most useless thing I have bought, I would say, I just don't give it 1 star because I haven't used it inside the house where it might do better due to a warmer environment and fewer losses due to air currents.
I have had the grill for about five years and I use it 2-3 times a month. The heating element is very good and durable. Sometimes, when it is working at full power, it trips the relay, especially recently. The grilling is not very even, but if you change the position of what you are grilling, the problem is solved. The grill requires a lot of water in the tray, about halfway up. The small tray it comes with is not necessary. It is good to have another double grill rack when grilling fish. The one it comes with is not suitable for fish. For the price, it is very good. I used to have a more expensive one before, and I don't think it was better.
Purchased on sale for €16.50 and after reading almost all the reviews, positive and negative, with the sole purpose of using it during summer and vacations.
First impressions, cheap construction, nothing fits perfectly, but expected. Very strong resistance, very powerful grilling on MAX (we almost always grill there) and with 3 height positions depending on what we are grilling. Vegetables, mushrooms, eggplants, zucchinis, etc., you forget them and they get burned, same with meats. I grilled pork, lamb, and beef sausages, always on MAX and on the medium height position of the grill, very nice and fast. I grilled many thickly cut vegetables like eggplants, zucchinis, large mushrooms, excellent grilling but you have to be on top of it.
I grilled 2 kilograms of lamb chops and here you have to be careful because the dripping fat ignites momentarily, but nothing dangerous in an open space. I would not recommend using it under a range hood. The chops on MAX and on the lowest height position of the grill turn out just like charcoal-grilled, dry on the outside and juicy on the inside. If you forget them or remove them, the resistance does not forgive mistakes. On the medium height position and always on MAX, they grill slower and it's the ideal position for those who want them well-done. On the 3rd height position of the grill, far away from the resistance and on thermostat positions 1-2, you put a tray with the meats. After finishing grilling, you cover it with aluminum foil or cling film and keep them warm and juicy.
Washing is a bit of a hassle by hand, but expected.
Negatives:
Definitely the construction and the lack of instructions. The "tray" it has functions as a fat collector, but there will be moments when the fat will ignite momentarily. I tried it without the tray and added water to the base of the grill, resulting in 2-3 bubbles forming in the supposed enamel coating, which is actually just a sticker, but no problem, and this is expected due to the cost.
I was very hesitant about buying it, but the price was unbelievable.
I only recommend it to those who already know how to grill on charcoal and are familiar with heat intensity, to those who want a second option for something quick on a balcony, patio, etc.
CAUTION with fatty meats, do not use it under a range hood because there is a risk of igniting the filter, which may already have some grease. There is no risk in an open space, the flame goes out quickly on its own.
If it lasts me through the summer and frequent grilling, it might be the unexpected value for money!

I also grilled sardines, on the medium height position and again on max resistance, very quick and good grilling, not a single one stuck. I will try the low position next time.
10-15 uses so far and everything is going smoothly. It has already paid off for me.

As time goes by and I get to know it better, I can only say positive things.
One more tip if we are going to grill something fatty like lamb or sausages.
"Wrap" the tray with 2-3 sheets of aluminum foil, something that will help a lot with cleaning, and regularly add water to the tray when the dripping fat starts to smoke. The smoke will stop immediately. At the end, let the water evaporate or cool down a bit, remove and discard the aluminum foil with the burnt fat, and you have saved yourself from scrubbing the tray.
Overall bad cooking. I gave it 2-3 chances and put it aside. I had a similar one and it cooked COMPLETELY differently. It cooks in a way that makes the food dry
Simply, the resistance needs to be closer to the grill in order to cook better... I, in order to achieve this and to cook better, tied the resistance with two wires closer to the grill.
I bought a Bormann electric grill.
The most TERRIBLE, cheap, and dangerous product I have ever purchased!!!
The handles transmit heat and you get burned. The tray is unstable and you can cut your fingers while washing it. Also, it is very small and the juices run inside the base. The heating elements are placed sparsely. In the center, there is a gap and the food does not cook evenly. The support bases of the grill were placed incorrectly, causing the grill to lean on one side or the other. After 10 uses, the grill coating became distorted.
When I complained, they referred me to the dealership. The dealership asked to see the product (as if they didn't have another one in stock) and after 15 days, they returned it to me with the most disrespectful comment (unfortunately over the phone) "with the amount you paid, what did you expect?" I paid 20 € for a grill, not for a piece of junk!!! I can name far better ones for the same price. However, I decided to support the local store...
The merchant was not directly at fault. However, they should have done a "reverse sale" according to European law (in Greece, what am I saying now?), return my money, and send the product back to the "irresponsible" importer-dealer. The product was unused and only a few days old.
In the first year, it started to malfunction. The first time, there was a tear in the grounding cable, which I fixed by opening it. The second time, there was a current leakage towards the grounding point where the cables enter the resistance. Let's move on.
It was cheap at 14.95 euros, and for as long as it worked, it was okay, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Owner of another similar grill from a different company as well as another closed-type one, and having this one in my possession for six months, after many grilling sessions I can confidently say: 1. The arrangement of the heating elements is very sparse, resulting in slow cooking, especially in outdoor settings. 2. Uneven cooking (due to the arrangement of the heating elements). 3. Average build quality but acceptable at this price.
I was very satisfied with the product, it cooks very well and is incredibly economical. However, after 4 months of use and 10 cookings, it started to release voltage. I tested it with a safety plug and it was working fine during cooking, but I noticed that it was electrifying me when I touched the steak, so the product is not only problematic but also extremely dangerous
Very fast cooking and easy assembly. Quite a large grill, but okay, maybe for someone who wants something more in cooking, it would be preferable to also get a stainless steel grilling grate, not that this one is bad, just with everyday use it will darken. I definitely recommend it as the ultimate value for money
Disappointing purchase. Within the first 10 minutes of use, there was a sudden and classic sound of a short circuit -> spark -> a little smoke and it never turned on again. The food was unfortunately cooked in the oven :(
I have had it for about two weeks. As others have mentioned, yes, it grills perfectly in reasonable times.
Also, as happened to others, during the first grilling, the color on the bottom of the grill inflated and "burst". Maybe if we add more water, it will hold less temperature at that point.
For a family, it would serve better if it was a little bigger, but it gets the job done.
The grill was recently purchased and the experience so far says it heats up quickly in 30-35 minutes at 4-4.5. It is a cheap construction, but for 19 euros I didn't expect anything more. The size is satisfactory for cooking and storage, but it is not particularly large. The only thing that bothered me a little is the fact that it is a cheap construction, which became apparent after the first wash when the bottom of the grill faded. A tip is to put some water inside when grilling, it takes about a liter for easier cleaning afterwards and to prevent grease from sticking, etc. It also has a small metal tray for grilling vegetables or whatever you want, and it can be small enough to fall inside the grill. For the money, I recommend it as a good option.
It takes a long time to cook outdoors! And its grill requires a lot of attention. From the first use, one of its bars came off.

It grills very well, it just takes a little getting used to (I think the thermostat at 4 is perfect).
Even frozen sausages, you put them on 2 for a bit, they defrost, and then you grill them normally as if they were fresh.
The result is much better than an oven, but also better than a robot oven that I have been using for years. Not very fast, but from my experience with other, even branded electric grills, I would say it's very quick...

I tried to clean the heating element, there was a lot of grease stuck, and I broke it... :-) so be careful and don't have similar ideas like me. Also, I think it's my fault for leaving the grill inside a bag (without the rack) on the balcony, and maybe the humidity is also to blame... I will buy another one
I just received the grill. I haven't tried it yet. However, I thought of sharing with you the user manual and what the package includes.
The grill rack and the heating element are detachable, and the tray can be washed after each use.
The metal "plate" (smooth surface) is for baking pies and similar products according to the user manual.
The package also includes four (4) legs, which should be screwed into the corresponding slots. CAUTION: Do not tighten the screws too much. There is a risk of detaching the slots. The slots are simply "punched".

Indeed, it grills very nicely, it is fast, but the downside is that the coils catch fire, like when grilling on strong charcoal, something I did not read in other comments. I think I fixed it by adding water, although it is not mentioned in the instructions for use.
23/1/2021. I just threw it away.. unfortunately.. after about fifteen uses, it was tripping the safety.
I have had it for about a month now, at first it grilled very well, but for the past week, even with the thermostat set to 5, it takes an hour to grill 2 sausages. Bad purchase
It is the most useful thing I have bought for our kitchen! It is small enough so that it doesn't require much storage space, but big enough to easily and quickly cook food for 4 people... I also use the lid from a casserole dish we have when I want to keep the meats moist a little longer and I am very satisfied! It has nothing to envy from other ones that cost 50€... I highly recommend it!
An order was placed for Easter Sunday's cooking needs. 2 and a half kilograms of lamb chops and 4 sausages in about 40-45 minutes. Taste like charcoal. Very easy to clean after use. For its price, it is amazing. If the thermostat holds up (basically, that's what it does), I don't see a reason for something more expensive. The surface is not huge, but you can't call it small either. It depends on what you want to cook, of course...
Small in size but works wonders.
Quite powerful, it has 3 grilling heights, simple to assemble and use.
It includes a silver tray which is probably meant to go on top of the heating element in case you want to grill on a surface, I don't think it's meant to go underneath to collect the fats, as it is much smaller than the bottom, resulting in the fats going everywhere anyway.
The paint on the bottom cracked during the first wash and peeled off with a sponge (with a soft surface), but with 15€, +2€ for shipping, the whole construction couldn't be immortal.
For me, for simple use, it's great. It comfortably fits 4 steaks and 4 small sausages together, so it's okay.
Simple, minimalist, value for money. If it lasts for 10 grills, it will be superb!
For me, it has a slightly smaller tray to collect the fats and the packaging did not have any protective measures inside.
Of course, it cooks well, the quality is not bad, and at €18 including shipping, the above are insignificant!
I received the grill today... I tried it immediately, of course! Today I grilled souvlaki and skewers, so I will tell you my experience with them... The grill is amazing... It cooks the meat as if it were grilled over charcoal... I cook them at 4 to 4.5... I am thrilled... The previous grill had a lid on top, those silver ones for 50 euros!! They were terrible and the meat came out dry... I decided to try a grill that is open on top, hoping it would do the job... That's why I chose this cheap one, whatever happens! I was pleasantly surprised, obviously! It's a very good grill, worth every penny... Don't waste your money on more expensive ones, in my opinion...
