Light metallic taste with the use of a simple carbon filter. I washed the chassis repeatedly with soap, left it in vinegar for hours, and the smell has decreased but still remains.

Edit: By changing the filter, the metallic smell has now disappeared. Changing the filter a second time, I noticed a general improvement in the taste of the water.
