Aquaphor Modern countertop filtration device, an efficient water filter that is placed on the kitchen counter and can be adapted to most faucets, without requiring special installation, simple and easy.
With the two filters contained inside (B-200), it removes and reduces: chlorine, petroleum products, phenols, heavy metals (such as lead and cadmium), pesticides, organic compounds, has bacteriostatic action, and also improves the quality of the water.
It removes odor and improves the taste of the water without removing the useful trace elements for the human body.
At the top of the device, there is an indicator with a calendar that reminds you of the month for changing the replacement filters.
AQUALEN is a material made of activated carbon fiber. It has excellent absorption capabilities against organic impurities and toxic heavy metals. It provides an adsorption rate (two orders of magnitude higher than granular activated carbon) and the ability to remove even trace concentrations of heavy metals and toxic organic impurities, such as pesticides, trihalomethanes, chlorophenols, and pharmaceuticals.
The high porosity and ion exchange properties of AQUALEN further enhance its superiority in adsorption compared to granular activated carbon. The main reason is the small diameter of the fiber and therefore the very large external surface area per unit weight (one to two orders of magnitude larger external surfaces than granular).
The absorption surface of Aqualen is 33 times larger than that of conventional ion exchange absorbents. Filters based on Aqualen technology are more than 10 times faster and more reliable than conventional filters.
IAM is a technology for manufacturing a water filtration medium with high-density absorbent materials. When Aqualen is mixed with granular absorbent materials, IAM technology creates a synergistic effect, meaning that the adsorption mixture achieves unique and high performances.
IAM prevents the channeling effect and ensures uniform distribution of water flow throughout the filter.
DFS technology is the method of applying silver in its most active ionic form to AqualenTM fibers.
DFS significantly increases the bactericidal effects compared to conventional filters, which use metallic silver deposited on activated carbon.

An excellent water filter with its own patent on the carbon filters "aqualen", through which water passes with more difficulty, resulting in the retention of more pollutants according to the manufacturers.

(-) With every filter change or with a new device that has filters, it takes about 2-3 days for the taste of the water to return to normal. This is due to the passage of water through the new filters.

It allows nitrates and salts to pass through. The brochure says so, which I uploaded. I have had it for over 6 to 8 years in Heraklion, Crete, in a village, and in Rhodes tested in a village outside of Corinth. The water is just right, excellent with Russian and American patents... look at the comparison videos on YouTube and you will understand as long as you do exactly what the instructions say with the appropriate filters for the area... update 18-8-24. In the end, it does not hold the salts; I have it in the specifications it has when you buy it new and when the municipality changed the water source... the water is safe but has way too many salts... also, the filters specifically for salts do nothing... I will go for an Eiger triple camel to choose the filters I will use.
Coming for at least the last 5 years using this filter mainly myself and not my wife (I suppose she doesn't use it because she is too lazy to wait for the glass to fill with water and prefers the faucet that runs much faster) I have to say the following after reading the comments above: first of all, I want to say (if I'm not mistaken) that the filters inside the filter are not meant to filter the water, but simply to reduce its flow (for the proper functioning of the filter). As for the smell, indeed, at first it smells (according to me) neutral, neither good nor bad, I suppose it's because of the coconut ropes inside the filter, so that the carbon doesn't create grooves. I chose this filter by doing some research on the internet back then, and I liked it because it doesn't create grooves like other carbon filters that eventually let everything pass through. I have opened a filter to see what's inside... it's a strange filter, I have never seen anything like it, I can't describe it (but I suppose it somehow uses the natural method of nature's filtration). Now, whether it's worth it or not, that's subjective. For me, it has to do with the water quality and what each person demands... With the latest filters (I bought them from the dealership) the taste of the water is like orange soda.

I have it for only four days so I don't have much to say at the moment.. Initially, I let the water run for 5 minutes and then we drank it. On the first day, the water had a strange taste and coincidentally, all three members of the family had a sore throat.
