What is Bisphenol A or BPA?

Bisphenol A is an organic compound used as an additive with other chemicals to produce polycarbonate plastics (PC) (since 1960). The negative aspect of this compound is that it "mimics" the function of hormones, making it an endocrine disruptor.

The Replacement Set of 5 Reverse Osmosis Filters RO-6 FitAqua is installed in the 5 out of 6 stages as follows:
Stage 1: Polypropylene Filter 5 micron | FITAqua AC-PP.

For sediments, dirt, rust, and scale. Protects the subsequent water filtration stages.

High-quality solid particle pre-filter made of polypropylene. Removes medium and fine impurities, mud, sand, rust particles, dirt, sediments, micro-particles, etc. The filter is non-toxic and absolutely suitable for drinking water.

It consists of a mechanically constructed, high-strength, single-block without internal cores or ends. It is suitable for all technical and domestic uses, thanks to the polypropylene which guarantees a high level of chemical compatibility. It is manufactured according to the strictest regulations for drinking water applications.

Stage 2: Granular Activated Carbon Filter | FITAqua AC-GAC.

Reduces chlorine, chloroform, unpleasant taste, odor, suspended particles, sand, rust, mud, total organic carbon, industrial organic compounds (tetrachloroethylene, trichloroethylene), dissolved organic compounds, organic color, dissolved iron, manganese.

The use of granular activated carbon favors high water flow and processing without pressure drop in the system.

Ideal for general water dechlorination as a pre-filter for reverse osmosis units. The coconut shell carbon material gives a pleasant taste to the water.

Stage 3: Compact Activated Carbon Filter | FITAqua AC-CTO.
With a permeability of 5 micron, it effectively reduces chlorine, unpleasant taste and odor, heavy metals, chloroform, pesticides, organic chemicals, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), industrial residues, toxins, turbidity, and various other harmful substances for the body.

The CTO activated carbon pre-filters provide protection by effectively purifying the water passing through them, while improving its taste and odor. It does not wear out and does not cause the phenomenon of "channeling" where the water creates only one path through the filter, resulting in not coming into contact with the entire filtration medium.

Stage 4: The reverse osmosis membrane is installed, which is not included in this set.

The membrane is replaced every 2 years.

Stage 5: Granular Activated Carbon Filter post inline | FITAqua AC-IL-GAC.

After the membrane, the water is stored in the tank and then passes through the filter, which provides a final "refinement".

The construction of these activated carbon filters ensures maximum water flow, as the material inside the filter is in granular form. It provides maximum protection against chlorine, pesticides, and other organic pollutants. It effectively cleans the water that passes through, improving both taste and odor.

Stage 6: Trace Elements + Alkaline 2 in 1 Filter post in line | FITAqua AC-IL-MIN.
It combines trace elements with the alkaline metal magnesium, which enriches the water with beneficial properties for the body. Ideal as the final stage of filtration in any reverse osmosis system. It enriches the water with essential minerals and trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium, for clean water with multiple health benefits.

Clean, soft, and great-tasting water enriched with the beneficial properties of magnesium, raising the pH to 8-8.5.

Alkaline water detoxifies your body by removing toxins and by-products from acidic residues, which accumulate daily in the human body from the environment, prescription drugs, and processed foods.
