Water treatment is done in 4 stages:

1st level: Particles and bacteria larger than 0.5 μm are trapped on the outer surface of the filter.
2nd level: Inside the ceramic filter, silver prevents the growth of bacteria (bacteriostatic action).
3rd level: The solid activated carbon removes chlorine and volatile organic compounds.
4th level: Thanks to the ion exchange resin, the filter traps heavy metals such as lead.

Many years in use and we have no problems.
The taste of the water with the red filter is excellent.

When we notice the flow starting to decrease, I take out the filter and clean it externally with the kitchen sponge to remove the sludge that clogs it, and the flow returns.

Invest in a metal adapter for the faucet.

1st flaw: The adapter in the package did not fit the faucet. The device came with two identical adapters. Why would the same adapter be available twice and there are no two different adapters to cover more faucet specifications? Because when it comes to adapters, not only the threading (male/female) matters, but also whether the faucet threading is deep, i.e. somewhat recessed. From the photos, it seems that the adapter in the package was too short for our faucet and therefore unsuitable. After a lot of searching, we found a properly sized adapter. 2nd flaw: When the connection was finally successful, the filter leaked at the base. 3rd flaw: After returning and fixing it, the water leakage was significantly reduced, but there was still permanent moisture at the base, it was constantly "crying" at the point where the tube comes out. After 3 consecutive flaws in just 1 week, I no longer wish to have a countertop filter at all and I have started to consider an under-sink filter device.

Average device requires a lot of tightening after changing the filter to avoid leakage. After 5 years, the top part cracked due to pressure and started leaking water from the top. It says that the plastic has a 10-year warranty, I will contact the company on Monday and get back to you. Very good discount and upgrade to stainless steel, stainless steel Primato!

Very good as a filter, but the device has some drawbacks. The first is that although the plastic casing is approved for food, it is not BPA free. Of course, I don't know if this changes with other similar companies. The second is that with long-term use, the plastic starts to smell and this transfers to the water. Spend an extra 50 euros and get the version with stainless steel, which has no plastic at all (base-casing), is smaller in volume, more beautiful, and of course, without the aforementioned negatives. The ceramic filter it contains is excellent.
