`TO STAY`: It must have been one o'clock at night, or one-thirty. In a corner of the tavern; behind the wooden partition. Apart from the two of us, the shop was completely empty. A kerosene lamp barely lit it. The watchful servant was asleep at the door. No one would see us. But we were already so inflamed that we became unsuitable for precautions. The clothes were half-opened - there weren't many because the divine July month was burning. Flesh enjoyment among the half-opened clothes; quick flesh exposure - whose image passed twenty-six years; and now it came to stay within this poetry. [86, 1919]
