As you will see in the video, the speaker with minimal hours of use had an electronic problem. The user's inability to control volumes, inputs, and other parameters makes the experience very unpleasant and the use impossible, while the fact of mandatory restart (at full volume) poses further risk for even greater damage.
MACKIE advertises this particular series as the top in its category. Obviously, this video proves otherwise, even more so since this specific speaker has already been sent once through the Greek service abroad, as they told us.
Under no circumstances would I buy a Mackie speaker again, and for one more reason. The power levels that Mackie advertises for this specific model as "2,000 watts" (not that we didn't understand from the beginning that these watts refer to power consumption and not output wattage, but we overlooked it), are completely exaggerated and unattainable. Apart from a balanced tone and clarity in the mid-high frequency range, this model is NOT worth it. We bought it because we had never purchased a Mackie before. Fortunately, we got a trial one and fortunately, it had a problem early on. Imagine if we had been excited about the nice, full, and clean sound it produces and had bought a dozen for the store..

    Verified purchase

We were particularly cautious about choosing this speaker, which is why we initially purchased one unit with the 10-inch woofer. The reasons that made us doubt were mainly two:

First: the local dealership, which on one hand does not recognize the 6-year warranty provided by Mackie in the USA & Canada, and on the other hand, Mackie grants the right to international dealerships that do not wish to offer the 6-year warranty to do so, offering the legal, i.e., 2-year warranty. This is a very strange "policy" if one considers that this particular model is in Mackie's top advertised series and uses proven high-quality materials in its speakers, coils, amplifiers, and electronic components of the boards. (Also, please note that the local dealership does not accept the warranty for the V-Class series speakers that have been purchased from abroad. They repair them with or without warranty for a fee). This makes sense, but significantly diminishes the customer's relationship with the dealership, the customer's relationship with the brand, and its reputation.

Second: the many integrated electronics that the speaker "carries," turning it into a smart speaker, is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it increases the likelihood of damages that may delay its repair, and on the other hand - and this is the worst part - you are buying a speaker/product accepting that its lifespan is limited and its expiration date may occur every time you connect it to the power grid, regardless of its usage.

After the speaker "settled" for about two days, the following emerged:

    THE POSITIVES:
It is very musical, with amazing midrange, sweet and rhythmic bass, and neutral highs. Every time we turned up the volume, it played loudly without distortion, showing that it can play much louder with the bass going quite low, while maintaining intensity and rhythm. It has very good resolution and separation of frequencies. Its sound has a pleasant personality that appears in mid-range intensities and is maintained in high intensities. Only at very low volumes is it a bit dull. (We adjusted the EQ to 0 treble, +2 mid, +1 bass). The speaker did not seem to heat up after 36 hours of continuous operation. It appears sturdy both in the front and back. The control for the menus is average. The indications on the screen are clear, the menu is easy (connecting to the app automatically updated it for about 15 minutes), the connectors seem good, and the potentiometers are flawless. The settings (increase/decrease) have a logical progression that is uniformly perceptible. Despite its small size, the sound dispersion and volume of sound pressure it creates surpass much larger cabinets. Much better sound quality than RCF/EV. It reminded me of db technologies with better bass and twice the intensity. We are very satisfied with the sound of the speaker. The materials inside are well matched and properly mapped. The price at 499 euros is very reasonable.

    THE NEGATIVES:
The cabinet does NOT have a handle on the top. The 212 and 215 models have it. Either we were unable to make the front lights indicate clipping, or we did not turn it up enough to clip, or this feature does not exist. In any case, the two lights are excessive in the design of the speaker.
Once we abruptly turned the menu knob (in Bt connection), it stopped responding and we had to restart the speaker. (We didn't turn it abruptly again and we won't...)
The app, although comprehensive, lacks precise settings. For example, to increase the bass by +2, you have to struggle with your finger and the mobile screen for quite some time. The volume faders work well.
Before the update, the app wouldn't open. It opened on the fifth try. The update requires a good internet connection. It was done on the second try and took about fifteen to twenty minutes. After the update, the app opened on the tenth try (on an Android LG). It needs to be fixed again.
The cabinet material is positively charged. Dust and hairs stick to it easily. (The magnetic shielding of the speaker is exceptionally good).
We are bothered by the fact that the manual does not state the speaker sensitivity, continuous sound pressure without clipping, actual power consumption, and actual power output.

    OVERALL

The Mackie SRM 210 V-Class is (with the reservation of electronics/app) a reliable speaker, properly tuned, with good sound quality, and reasonably priced at 500 euros, easily competing with speakers priced at 800 euros. Two tens with a subwoofer are sufficient for a small live performance in a bar.
The SRM 212 V-Class, priced at 670 euros today, is not worth the extra money it asks for compared to the SRM 210, as essentially you are paying more for the same horn as the SRM 210, while for live sound, you will need a subwoofer regardless, whether it's a 10-inch, 12-inch, or 15-inch.
If the price drops, we can discuss it.
We won't discuss the SRM 215... it's very expensive, and to balance the sound, you will have to play around with the EQ quite a bit, resulting in performance levels similar to the 12-inch or even the 10-inch.

    That's it. Time will tell.
    UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2022.
After reasonable use of the speaker and being particularly careful with our behavior towards it, the main control knob stopped responding to any adjustments, making it impossible to access the menu and volume settings. The service told us that they will either repair it or replace it for us. In any case, the inconvenience is inevitable, and our predictions about Mackie's top series have proven true.
