Powerful Bass
The 8" bass driver of the subwoofer, with a cast aluminum frame and long-throw design, can reproduce bass frequencies down to 40Hz. The powerful bass amplifier can deliver output power up to 70 Watts (RMS). The extended bass reflex port is calibrated to make the bass more powerful. Start a concert album, your favorite game, or a historical movie to feel the warmth or sway of deep bass.
Rich mids and crisp highs
The 3.5" mid-bass drivers consist of an aluminum alloy diaphragm and a cast aluminum frame, from which the midrange sounds are full and rich. The ¾" titanium dome tweeters are finely tuned for accurate reproduction of high tones, from which the treble sounds crisp and bright.

The speakers are excellent and compare in sound quality to JBL speakers costing over 1300 euros. They are not (by default) computer speakers as incorrectly stated, but are officially categorized by Edifier as a TV - Home Theater System. Nevertheless, they can also be used with a computer and a television to create a Home Cinema. With 150W, my neighbors knock on the door in the apartment building even when I set them to about 60%. Very powerful, crystal-clear, and bass-heavy sound. They are suitable for all tasks: gaming, music, movies. Don't even look at Logitech; they are light years behind.
Initially, I had them connected to the onboard sound card, and I upgraded to one of the top Creative AE-5 Plus cards. I didn't notice any significant difference; I would say it was negligible. Probably because the speakers are self-amplifying. If you are picky like me and have the budget, upgrade to a good sound card. If not, you lose almost nothing in sound quality compared to a dedicated sound card.
After a lot and very much research for quality office speakers I ended up here.
The countless rave reviews that have been written about these speakers are absolutely true.
First of all, I come from the Logitech Z523, which served me well and I have no complaints about their price, however I wanted to upgrade.
Guys, the difference between the two is HUGE, I don't know how more emphatic to make it.
I don't want to go into details about the crystal clear sound because others have written about it.
I will get to the essence of the purchase and use by saying the following after much research:
1. At this price, you will not find anything better in a 2.1 speaker system.
2. They are better than any Logitech system currently on the market (yes, all of them!!!!) and the Klipsch ProMedia THX.
3. For maximum performance, use optical output and desktop speaker stands (especially for office use) so that the speakers are at ear level (I recommend the "QTX Sound Desktop Speaker Stands" which seem to be made for these speakers).
4. Sound quality probably does not improve with a good sound card, as there is already an amplifier in the speakers (I'm not 100% sure, but most comments mention this)
They're the best quality wise. My only issue is that sometimes they get disconnected automatically, and it takes lots of tries for them to be detectable and paired. maybe it's my product, I might return them if this goes on
The speakers are amazing for the 250€ that I paid about 2 years ago. The price of 400€ is excessive, as are all the price increases of electronic devices that have come to stay, even when the "justifications" are over
Unbelievable experience! It's worth the money and more. As I have read from others, the only downside is the remote control because its design and infrared require extra attention to function, and it doesn't reach more than 3 meters. However, the speakers are amazing! Finally, the installation was easy, as well as the connectivity.
The speakers are incredible and I don't regret buying them. Wooden construction as an speaker should be, after all. Amazing crystal clear sound in the mid and high ranges. I was torn between Logitech Z625 - 200 watts and Edifier 351db - 150 watts, but when you see plastic in Logitech and wood in Edifier, you immediately go for the wood and I believe that Edifier has better sound than Logitech regardless of construction
At 235 euros, I don't think there is anything better. It easily connects via Bluetooth to all devices (TV, mobile) as well as via aux to a computer, and it also has an optical port and cable. Especially when connected to a computer, the volume reaches the whole neighborhood. Clear sound, full bass, and overall excellent sound even for the most demanding.
These speakers are the best you can get in a 2.1 setup. For better sound, you would have to go for audio systems that cost 1000+ euros. You have never heard such a balanced and clear crystal sound before. You just need a good sound card, such as the Sound BlasterX G6, to hear them as they should be.
I have been connected to my desktop via a sound card for music listening for almost a year now.
The speakers are EXCEPTIONAL in every aspect.
They have exceeded my high expectations, considering their price.
Sound that refers to the effort that Efifier has been making for several years to approach the English sound of speakers at all levels.
These specific speakers, besides their very good construction quality, produce rich and integrated sound in the low frequencies, smooth in the midrange, and surprisingly good performance in the high frequencies (up to a certain volume level). It has very good performance in orchestral pieces (soundtrack, classical) and I would say fantastic in pieces of small ensembles of soft rock and country where the instruments are fully distinct.
Overall, these are very good speakers for their genre (and not only), which I highly recommend, given my long experience in Hi-End systems
Extremely good speakers for listening to music. No comparison to anything related to Logitech and supermarket speakers. The clarity of their sound is truly amazing. Every time you increase the volume above 30% of their capabilities, it challenges you to go even higher in decibels since it comfortably covers every demand in intensity.
Their purchase is worth every euro you will spend. The subwoofer is ready to swallow the bass and asks for more. Life is too short for low-quality speakers.
I don't know much about speakers, guys, and that's why I bought these, otherwise I would have spent hours buying piece by piece and struggling with explanations of what xlr, amp, and dac are, and I don't know what else.
I have connected them to my PC via optical spdif (some of you may ask why not connect it via jack, I have electrical noise from the motherboard..) Personally, I am extremely satisfied, bass that breaks glass (well, if I turn it up to the max and add eq and bass boosted songs, I can shake the building for fun) for my simple ears they sound very clear, I am not pitch perfect by any means and I don't know about these things but I believe it's a pretty good deal for what they offer.
The difference with the s350db is:
- They have a black color
- They solve the problem of the round control
- They have a better bluetooth version (Bluetooth 5.0 - Qualcomm compared to 4.1 of the s350db)
I just got them and I'm impressed, I'm still testing them and I will update the review over time.
Download the Russian app from the playstore (you can find it by searching for edifier) for remote control on your mobile if your mobile supports such function (it has infrared).
Update: They are still flawless, I really like their sound, now I have them connected to the audient id14 mkII sound card. I see that the price has gone up, I bought them for around 250.
Extremely good speakers. I was looking for a 2.1 system, coming from the Logitech Z506 and tired of all the cables. I ended up with these (btw, they are the same as the S350DB from what I understand, just a different color). First of all, just from the heavy, wooden construction, you can tell that we are talking about a serious product. They are not small, you need to have space on your desk for them to fit, as well as somewhere for the subwoofer, which is a beast. Beyond that, you will enjoy them and more. Deep, nice bass, excellent overall sound. Connection for PC with 3.5 mm but also Bluetooth for connecting with your mobile, very convenient for when you want to play music and don't want to turn on the computer. Overall, I think it is an excellent purchase, you just have to consider their size.
Coming from the legendary Logitech z4, which have been of very high quality for the past 13 years, I can confidently say that the Edifier speakers are very good. Very high-quality sound, crystal-clear highs, full and clean bass without exaggeration, and mid-range on another level. However, I would like them to be a little louder for the 259 euros I paid, not that they are weak, but I would prefer them to be louder, 259 is the price. I feel like they are 100 watts and not 150 watts. I think they should cost 200. Otherwise, satisfied with everything + remote control + Bluetooth :)
I have had these specific speakers for about two months and I bought them for 230€. I don't have much experience with expensive sound systems, but these are the best ones I have acquired and I am very satisfied with them. Their sound still impresses me in music and movies, but for gaming, especially in FPS, I still prefer headphones for a more detailed positional image. They came carefully packaged with all the necessary cables.
As for the negatives, I will say that they make a slight buzzing noise when I turn them on, which gradually fades away (as they heat up?) and within half an hour it is not audible. It is quite annoying and in standby mode they consume about 6W, so I don't consider them suitable for leaving them permanently turned on.
