Compact and not granular charcoal. Removes chlorine and unpleasant tastes. For tap water that is already potable, nothing more complex is needed.

I have been using this filter for years. The water is crystal clear without any odors. However, many times, and not always, when you haven't used the filter for a few hours, the water has a taste that may of course be due to the quality of the water in the area. You just let it run a little to refresh the water in the filter and everything is fine.

We bought two filters and the water doesn't run, not even a drop.. but both of them??? Unacceptable!! It seems like they are used! It takes over 8 minutes for a 500ml water bottle to fill up.

Very good value for money solution.
