For the money, it's perfectly fine; don't expect to get into mastersef. It loses 5-10 grams, but for the 3€ I bought it for, if I remember correctly, it's just right
I bought it for the first time in 2017:
- lightweight,
- easy to handle,
- relatively accurate for 4 grams and above. It lacks accuracy for up to 4 grams. Therefore, it is not a good choice if you want to weigh small quantities (e.g. herbs and spices). However, it is particularly useful for all other kitchen needs.
- durable: it has fallen off the counter many times without any problem. In the last fall, however, a piece broke and the battery no longer makes good contact.
I bought the same model, which I see is lighter compared to the 2017 one and also requires smaller batteries (I use rechargeable ones).
Considering its low cost (3 euros), it is an excellent purchase. From the rare occasions when something so cheap proves to be so durable and long-lasting.
The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is not useful for the herbs that I use daily in small quantities up to 4 grams.
If you don't need small quantities, then it definitely deserves 5 stars.
I wanted something small and economical.
For the money, I expected something worse to be honest.
I received it relatively quickly.
But it is not stable at all. I put it on smooth surfaces like the table and it moves around like a chair, which makes me unsure about the letters it displays.
Pleasant and quite expensive considering that we compared it to the previous one I had.
After the comparison, I stopped using the previous scale due to its inconvenience and started using this one!!
A very good purchase!!
The original SF-400 was very good. This new version with the blue light is of much worse quality, it doesn't press well, the buttons are not pressed accurately, the blue light is annoying. Someone needs to come up with a solution to align the legs so that it at least shows some accuracy. Probably a waste of money.
At first, I was skeptical. However, for its price, it's worth it! I bought it because it's easier to find batteries, to "calibrate" the weighing item on the platform (for accuracy in weighing), and of course, to press the correct button every time. I couldn't find these features with regular touch scales, so I preferred a simpler and traditional solution.
1 year of use and it works just fine. For 4 euros, I don't even need to discuss it for someone who just wants to measure a little in their kitchen. Obviously, it is a cheap construction and its measurements may have a slight deviation. You don't spend 4 euros to become a master chef.
I give it one star because it broke after a few uses, it lasted for about six years but its usage was minimal for its age, made of simple plastic material, lightweight.
I bought it after reading reviews, but ultimately it is a low-quality plastic. The base on top that balances is not stable, so there is a problem with weighing. It broke after about a year without any special use.
I bought it for the workshop to weigh mixtures for DIY projects with liquid glass. Compared to other scales, it had no deviation in the values. For its price, it has justified lower quality materials, but they do not bother you in terms of use or durability.

It's not worth anything. Depending on the position you place the weight, it changes the reading. It broke after 5-6 uses. I was measuring flour and oil for frying.
The first one measured with continuous instability after a few days and turned out to be broken and replaced immediately and painlessly to my great surprise! The second one is doing well for now, we'll see how it continues. The pros are its supply with AA batteries and the light on the dial. The cons are its construction sensitivity, it does not inspire confidence if, for example, it falls from your hands on the table.
*** For those who shake the plate, it has a sticker on the back that covers two securing screws. If you screw them, it will stabilize (do not tighten them too much).
I have it in the kitchen at a tavern. I bought 2. One scale works well, the other has a problem and resets whatever you weigh. It's Chinese, and if you're lucky, it will work correctly.
Yesterday I received it. It has one good thing, that it doesn't take button batteries but AA. It is light in weight. Let's hope it will turn out good for me!
I can't understand all the positive reviews.. I bought it because of the reviews but I was disappointed as soon as it arrived.
Cons: It doesn't sit well on the counter and it tilts on one side. The plate on top moves, causing the object you're weighing to have a different weight in the center and on the edges. The quality is not good, other scales with 5€ have much better quality. 2 stars only for the illuminated screen and the weight it measures, but if it doesn't weigh correctly, what's the point..
Excellent for the funny cost of 5€!!!
Vfm, impeccable in measurements with various weights, correct operation of the scale!
Positive is also that it takes common AA batteries and not "buttons", which are harder to find.
It is worth buying it with closed eyes.
