I have placed it on the balcony (I don't have awnings) so I can sit outside when it's cold. It does its job very well, especially if positioned in a way that the heat beam reflects off a wall. It will cover at maximum intensity even a table with 2 sofas (sofas arranged opposite each other from the table, positioned with the beam reflecting off a wall, hitting the table with the sofas on the right and left - facing each other), as long as it's not freezing cold. With a jacket, you're just fine, without shivering. If you sit alone, that's a different story; you sit outside and feel the chill.. I turn it on when I go out, and turn it off when I come in. It has a wide beam, about 280-300 degrees, and the positive thing is that the beam starts not from the ground, but from 30 centimeters in height. I am very satisfied because the balcony is now usable practically all year round.
