Description

Pentek CBR2 series filters are highly effective in reducing chlorine as well as improving the taste and odor of drinking water. 

The unique carbon structure enables the reduction of Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Entamoeba, Toxoplasma cysts, sediments, and particles down to 0.5 microns (μm).


They are manufactured using a powdered activated carbon (PAC) with a specially designed adsorbent material for reducing lead and mercury.
The filters are protected by a two-layer polyolefin pre-filter, significantly increasing the useful life by preventing sediments that typically clog activated carbon filters.

    What bothered me was that even though everywhere in the descriptions they write that it has nsf certification, the filter clearly states that it does not have approval. The filter is made in China, so don't expect it to come from any America. Compared to the doulton I had before, this one is much lighter (probably because the other one is ceramic on the outside), but you can also see the difference in construction. Of course, one costs 55 euros and the other costs 22 euros. The flow rate is very high, but time will tell how long it will last. The water tastes good, but I didn't like the company's marketing, so I don't think I will choose it again.
