Description

Inverter Technology

Thanks to Inverter technology, it maintains a stable temperature and lower consumption compared to standard instant water heaters as it uses only the necessary power to heat the water to the desired temperature.

Compatible with solar or boiler systems

It can be installed in series with these, taking the existing lukewarm water and thus achieving even greater economy.

If the CEX will be the only source of hot water, the following apply in any case:

  • More economical in power consumption by 30 to 40% compared to non-electronic instant water heaters and 60 to 70% compared to classic water heaters.

Operating Power

The operating power and consumption are controlled by the electronic brain according to the temperature and flow of the incoming water, to select exactly the desired temperature and keep it stable.

The selected temperature ranges between 20 C and 55 C, is adjusted with touch buttons, and is displayed on the large screen, where the operating and programming options are also shown.

Programming keys

Two programming keys for setting temperature values, activating the temperature limit, as well as a menu for operation and setting/programming indications.

Temperature Memories

2 Temperature memories that you can easily set for each use, for example:

  • Temperature 35C for hand washing
  • Temperature 42C for showering or any other temperature you desire.

Features

  • Flow switch: Activates the device only when there is water flow.
  • Safety thermostat: Provides protection against overheating.
  • Inlet/outlet temperature sensors: Monitor and display on the screen, if you choose, the temperature of the water entering or exiting.

Installation

It is suitable for individual use (application only in one supply) in the bathroom, it can be installed easily and quickly. It offers convenience in use or maintenance and meets your daily needs for hot water.

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It heats only the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, and longer lifespan, as there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts in the resistance and other components.

It operates with electricity and is single-phase.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is the pressure of the cold water inlet must not be too low.

The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures that the hot water reaches are pre-set so that one can use the hot water directly, without needing to mix it with cold water.

The maximum temperature it can reach for hot water production is 55 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 8.8 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.

Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters

  • It is small in size and does not take up much space.
  • There are no energy losses, as only the water being used at that moment is heated. Therefore, we save on the electricity bill. In a traditional water heater, the hot water that is not used goes to waste.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold, as happens in a traditional water heater. Thus, we also save water, in addition to electricity.
  • There is no need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the tap, hot water flows in a few seconds. The traditional water heater takes a few minutes, depending on its size.
  • The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the tap open, we will have hot water.
