Cheap Chinese construction but it works just fine. How long it will last remains to be seen. But for a couple of bucks, it's great value for money.
I tried it with Samsung S21 & Pixel 3XL, both running Android 13.
It worked with both. One button increases the volume and the other decreases it. So, to use it as a remote with your phone's camera, enable the option to take photos by pressing the volume buttons in the camera settings. That's it.
