Usually you would get it to replace the classic double switch that doesn't have a neutral, so it's good to open the box before ordering to see if there is a neutral wire passing through the back, in order to steal a neutral. Or if you're lucky and have a socket above or below, you will get a neutral from the socket as long as their cables pass through the same channel. There are no instructions in the packaging. It needs the neutral in the N, the phase in the L, and the two outputs in the Lx. At first, I thought about experimenting to see which Lx is for up and which is for down, but on the one hand, I got it right away, and on the other hand, I later saw in the application that you can reverse it from there. The application does not need to be from Nedis, whatever application you already have (e.g. v-tac), they all borrow the same platform for their app. It doesn't have clamps and I haven't found yet how to unclip the front if I ever need to in the future when I screw the box to the wall. It needs calibration from the app, which does not explain well what you need to do in order to adjust the top and bottom limits, and some buttons in the app are in Chinese during the setup, like cancel. The best way to calibrate it is to time how long it takes from bottom to top, then bring it to the bottom and manually enter the seconds needed in the app. I've had it for a day, if something goes wrong, I will come back
Good switch in terms of network connection, but very poor in terms of construction. I have bought 3 of them, and in 2 of them the glass cover came off and fell on the floor, breaking. The store where I purchased them informed me that there are no spare parts and that I have to buy new ones. I suggest you buy switches that have spare parts, even if they are a bit more expensive. Stay away from this one, it's not worth it. Also, note that I haven't had them for even 5 months.
Very good switch. Works perfectly. However, the Nedis application is a bit difficult to use, resulting in me spending a lot of time setting it up.
The switch does not have hooks to attach to the electrical box. I tried wrapping double-sided tape around the switch and it holds.
Works great with google home.
For 2 years, it did a perfect job, never lost connection. But for the past 2 months, since Cosmote changed the router to 5G, it has lost connection many times
The product overall seems to be of good quality. I give it 4 stars because I struggled a bit with the calibration for the duration of the handling and also because the options in the application for button illumination are not functioning correctly. I believe that these aspects could be improved. Before purchasing, make sure that it can withstand the power of the motor that will need to pass through it. If I remember correctly, it has a maximum power of around 300W.
Value for Money purchase.
It served its purpose.
I haven't had any issues since I got it a few months ago, whether it's connected or something else!
Pay attention to the calibration process, follow the instructions of the application, and you won't have any problems
The worst thing ever. It connects easily but constantly loses connection with the router, resulting in me pressing the button on my phone and it responding after several seconds, maybe even a minute. Many times it doesn't respond at all through my mobile phone. It also frequently loses calibration. I sent it back to the service. They delayed it for several weeks and kept my window closed. They didn't respond to my messages at the store where I bought it in Marousi, Attica, and after my threats, they sent me a new one. It worked well for a month and then started doing the same thing. If I send it back again, the window will stay closed again... It only works as a simple window switch without wifi.
Without programming, it opens by itself... the bottom button with the lid doesn't catch, while when it is without it works normally... calibration is easy but sometimes it loses it on its own... these from the first moment, I am now looking for something else.
It loses one star solely because I cannot automatically set it to open up to a specific point, e.g. 50%, 75%, etc.
After two months of operation, it stopped and lost synchronization three times. The last time, one of the two units got stuck and doesn't work at all. The top light remains permanently on without doing anything else. If anyone knows of any solution, please help.
It does what it promises. I operate it through smart life where there is a detailed management and configuration menu. Of course, it also works with voice commands through Google Home and Alexa. I have 16 blinds and they all close with one command.
It has not presented any problems in the short duration of use (2 months). Aesthetically, it is beautiful and discreet and shows good quality.
Connectivity was a breeze with the Fritzbox router, which is simply top-notch and provides both 2.4 and 5 GHz simultaneously. Because all these devices connect to 2.4 GHz, any connection issues you have, look at your router.
Excellent switch. Your application shows how open or closed the role is with a percentage and graphics. It connects easily but needs calibration to work properly.
The switch works great. Easy to install. As for the neutral, others have mentioned it. Now, for installation in an old box, because as we know the switch doesn't have clamps, FORGET about silicone and other such inventions. If you don't want to mess up and struggle with the wires because they gather in the back and under pressure they throw the switch out of the socket, get a six-inch extension with the corresponding screw and 10 points away. Drill the bottom of the box, one on the right, one on the left, and you're done. Immortal.
Very good, excellent products from Nedis, very easy connection. Attention requires neutral. This means that if you have a socket nearby, an electrician can pull like me. They work perfectly, the application on the mobile has many options and automations and widgets with Siri. I have it for shutters, 4. Recommended.
Good switch, easy to connect, and it requires a neutral wire!! Be careful, it doesn't have prongs to fit into the switchboard like all other switches!!! If the switchboards are of a new type, we can use sheet metal screws in the two holes, and if they don't exist, we can use silicone adhesive!!! This applies, of course, to all wifi switches!!! Also, the application works perfectly, it connects instantly with Google Assistant, but not with Alexa!!!
Very good brand, very good switch.
I replaced the switches for the shutters of the house.
It connected very easily.
It requires a neutral wire.
No need to download the Nedis app.
For example, since I already had the V-tac app, I used this one, it recognized it immediately and then also Alexa.
