This specific product is very harsh for the scalp. As soon as my hair dries, my scalp starts to flake immediately. It has harsh sulfates and dries out skin and hair. My hair is natural with no processing. I am disappointed. I will give it away.
I used it for a month and indeed I started losing fewer hairs (although the breakage remained, but I didn't expect it to help with that). After I stopped using it (randomly) for two weeks, I started losing what I was losing before... just from that, I got annoyed, but okay, it's just shampoo, it can't work miracles. Nevertheless, I hope there is something more effective out there

Minimal difference in hair loss.
It has a pleasant scent and leaves a nice feeling of cleanliness, but that's about it.
Compared to other Kerastase products such as hair masks, I believe it is inferior and expensive for what it offers.
I have been using it for 2 months now along with the cream and the mask... without the mask, my hair gets tangled and is unruly and without any softness! I don't like it at all as a shampoo, maybe it reduces a little bit of oiliness, I haven't seen any difference in my split ends and hair breakage, and that was the reason why I spent 80 euros to buy the whole set... It smells like a mix of chamomile and grass, indifferent to bad as a scent and it fades away the second day... unfortunately, I won't buy it again, I'm just waiting for it to finish! (It's not a shampoo for hair loss but for hair breakage, therefore half of the reviews are wrong!)
Perfect scent, does not make hair oily at all even after 3 days. I bought it for hair loss but I really don't see as many hairs after combing
With hair loss, it didn't help me much, I can say, I definitely saw a slight improvement, but I can't compare it to the shampoo from ducray anaphase that is intended for hair loss. Its scent is amazing, and it smells until the next wash. Because I have oily hair, where with the use of other shampoos washing is an everyday affair, with this one I could wash every other day without seeing any intense greasiness. That is, my scalp was the definition of CLEAN with this shampoo. Also, it requires a small amount, it creates a lot of foam!
I have experimented for years with big companies, I have tried many hair care lines, but the genesis for thin hair is the best thing I have ever put on my scalp. It is the only product that I continuously use for a year and it does not make my scalp oily, unlike all the other shampoos that alter the pH and after a lot of use they stop cleaning your scalp. At the same time, I saw an increase in the density of my hair, even though I did not have a problem with the quantity, but with the thickness of my hair as it is very thin, hence the oiliness. The scent is incredible. As for the dullness that some comment on and the hardness of the hair, it is a consequence of its strong cleansing action. However, it can be corrected with the conditioner by applying it to the ends as needed. This is the first time I leave a comment for such a product, but I am so satisfied that it really deserves both praise and its cost as a product.

In hair loss, I didn't understand if it worked because I used it in autumn towards winter when I have intense hair loss that takes time to stop. However, it is one of the two shampoos that clean my scalp very well, reshape the shape of my hair (wavy) and make my hair shiny. It also increases the time between washes, does not get oily quickly, and its scent lasts 2-3 days (whether you like it or not). I am thinking of getting the leave-in conditioner to try. The mask did not do anything special to my ends.
For the price, I didn't see any difference in hair loss. It has a nice smell, cleans the hair, but no difference compared to a shampoo from a supermarket. I wouldn't buy it again
I did not expect it to do exactly what it promises and yet I saw results from the first application!! My hair really breaks much less and it has a wonderful scent. From now on, this will be my shampoo
The product does what it promises quite quickly (I saw results after the second week of use), BUT, because it somehow dries out the scalp to achieve results, it personally caused dryness for me. Maybe the quantity is to blame. It is good to use a small amount.
I have thin, oily hair and it is the best thing I have ever bought. I have been using it for a year now and I wouldn't change it for anything!!
It is an excellent hair product. After pregnancy, my hair was in terrible condition, but now that I use this shampoo, I see the difference in improvement. I also received the small gift for hair with the order. Thank you!
It is a good product. Yes, it does help a lot with hair loss, but for me at least, it did not provide the density and volume that I need.
I haven't seen a tremendous difference in terms of hair loss, but it smells perfect! The packaging is small, but it creates a lot of foam and only requires a small amount.
Having spent 3€ on shampoo up to 20€, this shampoo is truly the best!!!! Personally, it stopped my hair from falling and I am also in a period of pregnancy and it is the first shampoo that I wash with and feel my scalp truly clean!!! I have bought the largest packaging of it because the big one is convenient, just so you know!!!
I regret buying it because it is not vegan or cruelty-free.
I believe it would be good if they released products without animal ingredients and without testing on animals.
Until then, I will not purchase anything from this company.
I have been using it for almost 6-7 months after my hairdresser's recommendation, who confirmed that I had a mild form of hair loss. Before using this shampoo, I was losing a lot of hair, especially when I washed it. Now I don't have any hair loss issues and I won't change this product. I have thick hair with very fine strands and volume at the same time. This shampoo also helps with frizz. A secret: leave the lather on your head for a few minutes, don't rinse it off immediately. I use the transparent formula since I have fine hair.
All the other Kerastase products are very unremarkable now and I have already found much better options at much better prices and larger quantities. However, this shampoo really makes a difference and I won't change it.
Amazing product. I have never used something so effective. It deeply cleanses the hair, prolonging the appearance of oiliness, while leaving it moisturized and shiny without any frizz. I should note that I have all the above problems plus fine hair! I use it in combination with its conditioner and nothing else.
The only flaw I find in it (2 with the price) is its scent. It's not necessarily bad, just not nice for me. Think of something like chamomile. It's not bothersome, however, it doesn't overshadow the benefits of the shampoo at all.

Yes, it did work for hair loss, clearly and effectively. However, I repeat that in my case, the hair loss is caused by breakage.
Although it is expensive, I continue to use it systematically and exclusively (only this, in other words) not only for the results but also for its scent. Actually, maybe even more for its scent.
I will say something that may sound strange. I am very picky and sensitive about scents, they all feel heavy on me, as well as on others. I have been using the same scent for almost 25 years, Moschino Cheap & Chic (OLIVE red-black), and only that. However, I like the scent of Kerastase Genesis so much that I rarely wear my own scent anymore, so as not to cover up the smell of Genesis in my hair!
Also, I use almost the entire range, except for the Serum and ampoules, I have no opinion on those because I have no experience with them.
I'm not crazy about the conditioner (Fondant Renforcateur) because it's not very effective in detangling. But for the mask, yes, it's amazing, I just don't use it more than once a week, it's heavy for my fine hair, so I use the conditioner 3 to 4 times a week and the mask once.
Overall, it's a very good product, including the heat protectant (Defense Thermique), which has a great result in reducing frizz and providing additional help with detangling.
I deducted one star for the price of the products. The fact that I have the financial ability to buy them doesn't change the fact that they are expensive for systematic and exclusive use...
I bought the large package, I have thin hair. It helped with the oiliness and I noticed a difference in hair loss. After 2 months of use, I would definitely buy it again.
It helped with the issue of oiliness, not so much with hair loss (which wasn't enough anyway), but it almost completely stopped! I would definitely buy it again!!
Good shampoo helps somewhat with frizz, but I didn't see any impressive difference that would justify its high price compared to regular ones on the market. I have been using it for 2 months now.
A very good shampoo like all Kerastase products. I have thin hair and a very oily scalp and it helped me a lot. They are really worth their money
I really liked this whole series. Unfortunately, this specific shampoo caused irritation and gave me pimples after a few weeks.

I have already bought two bottles and I am very satisfied. In the first week alone, I saw results. With proper diet and no dietary supplements, I have seen a big difference and it lasts. The scent is particularly pleasant and long-lasting (don't worry if you cook). Finally, my hair got a small dose of shine, but I would not buy it for that reason
Expensive, but amazing. It leaves hair light and soft, without any trace of greasiness even the next day (for normal to oily hair). Don't expect any product to work miracles to prevent hair loss, it simply works in conjunction with a proper diet, vitamins, iron, and hair care.
