It takes relatively long to update the temperature display (I have an old phone), but in my case, it didn't cause any problems (checking the electric valve between the boiler and the solar panel). It requires a short cable as possible for the sensor and not to be exposed to weather conditions. Someone who knows electronics can make it work without any of the mentioned issues. In any case, if you know what you're asking for and what it can do, it will be helpful and, like in my case, save you money
