I will only talk about my experience with this belt. Due to my difficult job and a problem in the middle, before using it, I used to have my wife rub me with heating and other creams almost daily. Since I started using it two weeks ago, I am fine, I haven't used any cream. My waist doesn't hurt anymore. I wear the belt over my undershirt, it is thin enough and doesn't show through my shirt. It doesn't bother or burn at all, but it does its job. I am very happy that I bought it and I recommend it.
Very bad for nothing. Overpriced... poor quality-price ratio. I have bought a much cheaper one - from Scrutge again - that holds the waist wonderfully, I regret not buying the same for my mother... What a shame!
I am surprised that when I touched the red fabric inside with my hands, and then touched my eyes, I felt a sting and burning, the same on my tongue. Could it have a heating cream or something like that inside, and that's why one simply feels heat when wearing it?
I was reading various things and I said, well, at most I'll lose 22€. So, I have 4 herniated discs, from the 5th upwards, and I couldn't lift even 5 kilos or bend my waist a little! The first day that I didn't do any work, it didn't bother me at all.... I thought, the 20€ was wasted. The next day, I go to the ship - where I work as an engineer - and I go and lift an 18 kilo container! I lifted 6 of the same weight in a row!!! And suddenly, my waist starts burning, to the point that I got scared. In short, every day I would come home feeling like a 90-year-old man - I'm 48 now. I walked normally, with a very slight discomfort in my heel, where other times my hip would hurt, my back leg and my toes would go numb to the point that I couldn't stand upright. I know I can't avoid surgery, but the point is that I walked and came back home STANDING UP!!! YES, IT WORKS!!! As soon as it detects inflammation in the applied area, it starts burning. I couldn't believe it, that's why I included a photo of my waist, so you can understand how much it burned me. Soon I will get a full-body one. I repeat: it burns, only when there is inflammation! When there isn't, it's like you're not wearing it. So for now, it's been wonderful from the moment I needed it! ️
The only downside is that I took it to the tailor to put a larger "male" clasp on it so that it holds more securely. It warms up slightly and keeps the waist.
It's like having a plaster, 100% of the heating sensation without the annoying burning pain, I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a weightlifting belt.
It creates a heat-excess that helps in long-term chronic pain and stiffness. It does NOT have magical properties for acute conditions and does NOT burn like a hot iron. When you take it off after several hours, you feel like something is "missing". Clearly something more than equivalent elastic waistbands that simply generate heat as clothing.
I have hollows in my waist and it gets worse with the cold and humidity. I always used injections to recover. With the belt, I have avoided them for 6-7 years that I have been using it. It simply loses its strength quickly. Its price has also dropped now. Of course, its quality has also dropped. Despite all this, it helps me and I buy one every year.
It is really good! I have hernias and so far it has left me with a very good impression, as it keeps the waist stable, avoiding erratic movements, and really provides a smooth warmth, without being intense. As soon as I take it off, I immediately feel a slight chill. I recommend it!
Well, I can't wear it for more than five minutes. It burns so much that I think I will get a burn. When it is in direct contact with the skin. If I wear it over a shirt, it doesn't warm up at all. I really don't know if this works, but it didn't help me at all because I can't wear it properly.
The only instruction it has is when you feel intense burning, take it off and put it back on after a while...
I feel like I'm on fire...
It helped me a lot with the heavy lifting.. it keeps me warm.. when I apply cream, it still burns me even the next day. The only downside is that it gets very sweaty in hot weather, and it rides up on its own above my pants.
Good. But small in size. I am 70 kilograms and I bought the small size. It just fits me. I should have gotten the medium or large size. And I didn't exchange it. Other than that, it's good.
My review is a response to the negative reviews I read here and fortunately they did not convince me and I bought it, thanks to a personal friend who insisted... So, after reading all the negative reviews here, I went to the representative and asked... why do some people say that it only worked the first time and then it didn't warm up the middle? And I received the following answer that satisfied me... "In order for the belt to work and 'warm up', there must be inflammation... so with the heat of the body, the belt absorbs the heat and reflects it back to the body, so if there is no inflammation... it doesn't warm up like a plaster, as we say..." It seemed logical to me, so I proceeded with the purchase. Indeed... by placing the belt on the point of inflammation... it burns as if you have applied a plaster or a heating ointment. I tested it and at the same time I placed the belt in another spot 20 centimeters higher... and the belt didn't burn me at all. So for me, what the representative said makes sense, since I verified it myself... and all those here who say that it simply doesn't work... probably think they bought a heating pad and can't understand basic things. 1) You have to find the right spot to find relief 2) There must be inflammation 3) By tightening the belt in certain areas of the body... it comes into proper contact with the skin and does its job, for example when I am standing up, while when I am sitting down, it doesn't come into contact because it folds and stops working, so you should keep that in mind as well. Until yesterday, I was one of the skeptics about these "telemarketing" products... tomorrow, I will most likely go and buy the vest they have for the back and shoulders.
I have been wearing it at work for 2-2.5 months. It immediately warms up my waist (you have to wear it over a t-shirt because otherwise it burns you) but it definitely doesn't hold up as well as other more specialized ones for this case. As for durability, time will tell.
The first time I wore it, it worked by warming my waist, but it didn't help me much with lumbago-sciatica. After a week of wearing it again, its heating action had disappeared. Unreliable product.
It helped me very little with the problem of lumbago that I have. When I used it for the first time 6 months ago, it worked just like a regular plaster or a heating ointment, nothing more. However, last week, when I needed to use it again, it didn't work at all, as if it had lost its effectiveness. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money.
Five years ago, I started experiencing intense pain in my lower back, especially during the winter months and with cold and humidity. Many times, I would be bedridden for days with unbearable pain, taking medication just to be able to stand up. Over time, I discovered that if I kept my lower back warm, everything would go smoothly, meaning that I wouldn't have any pain or stiffness. I used to apply regular heating creams and wear multiple layers of clothing to maintain a high temperature. Unfortunately, the creams had a strong smell that would permeate my clothes, making me feel bad for those around me who had to tolerate it. Additionally, I couldn't tolerate wearing too many layers of clothing because it made me feel uncomfortable. I wanted a product that was odorless, lightweight, discreet, and above all, effective, so that I could wear it outside the house as well since cold and humidity are always present in outdoor spaces. The Firtech belt seemed to be exactly what I was looking for from the beginning. I didn't buy it right away, and I suffered from the pain for a long time, but now I regret it. A friend of mine, who worked in the cleaning industry and had a serious problem with daily bending, recommended it to me. He told me that wearing the belt around his waist literally "saved" him because his unbearable pain had subsided. He wore it during work, and the warmth it provided made him feel 100% relieved, while its construction didn't bother him because it was extremely lightweight and didn't show under clothes. Even though I realized it late, it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I bought the basic version without the support bars because I didn't have a problem with supporting my waist, but I only wanted to maintain the temperature. This belt transfers the temperature it receives from my body to a slightly higher degree. The warmer my body gets from movement, the warmer sensation it gives me. Regarding reviews I read about overheating, I have never experienced such a thing so far, even though I wear it in direct contact with my skin. I always have the necessary amount of warmth in the sensitive area. The result is more than satisfactory because wearing the belt has reduced my pain. I can now confidently bend my body, lean without holding onto surfaces, lift reasonable weights of daily life, and get rid of a big problem, the unbearable pain that used to force me to stay in bed with medication. When I feel a slight pinch in my waist, I immediately put on my belt, and everything ends there. For those who face the same problem as me, I highly recommend it.
The product appears to have a cheap construction and certainly is not an orthopedic belt that we would want for lifting weights, supporting our waist, etc. Of course, those who are looking for something like that should look elsewhere........ However, I gave it 4 stars because whoever wears it (in direct contact with the skin) quickly feels a burning sensation in the area, as if they have 5 patches stuck together........ So, this heat personally relieves me to a great extent and provides me with solutions, even if temporary, to my problem
Very good belt, it helps us a lot when we have muscle spasms. It keeps the area where it is applied very warm, a feeling that you are wearing a plaster.
The product is fantastic and highly effective. It is good to read the instructions for each product before using it. When the waist area warms up, it means that we have excess blood flow in the area, which helps relieve pain and treat its causes. When it exceeds our tolerance to heat, we remove it and reapply it later to continue its work. It is unfair to judge this Greek and high-quality product in this way without properly using it. The only "negative" is that the effectiveness of the material decreases over time, specifically for me, after 2 years, even if you use the mildest cleaner with hand washing.
