Until now I was using a rubber band to take measurements, it solved my hands, really perfect.

The device in question is decent for its price, however:
1. It is not suitable for outdoor use. I managed to use it only in the late afternoon to evening, when there wasn't enough light (and in the second level of the laser). Note that its range does reach as far as it claims, but with the light, it is impossible to distinguish the trace.
2. For indoor use, it performs much better, considering that observation will still be difficult with too much light.

In conclusion, I would say that it is very good for indoor use as the trace will almost always be visible, while for outdoor use, it depends on the conditions. I am not a professional and my usage is occasional, so I cannot speak about durability over time or specific uses that someone else might want. If I were a professional, perhaps it would be worth doing more research and opting for a laser with a green light and a higher price.

Overall, though, I am satisfied.

It is not bright enough as it should be, cheap, small and lightweight as positives... Also, the beam covers a surface in a cross shape and not the ceiling and floor, it is not suitable for someone working with plasterboards.

Necessary in every family, definitely for every amateur and partially for every professional. You can support it on a metal tube that balances between the floor and the ceiling (that's how I use it). You can securely place mirrors, paintings, etc., as well as tiles, water and electricity pipes, and anything else you need for leveling or verticalization. It seems sturdy. I highly recommend it.

From the little time I have had it, it seems great!!!
It is self-leveling and very fast. I use it with a tripod that I had purchased for my camera. The sliding switch it has on the side is not only an on-off function for the level, but when you put it in the off position, it locks the mechanism so that you can safely transport it wherever you want.
It seems reliable and sturdy, worth its money and more. It is actually the new model from Ingco, meaning it is the replacement for the HLL156501.
