Carob syrup is produced from the fruits of the carob tree and has a mild, sweet taste. It can be used as a sweetener for cakes, tahini, hot and cold beverages, yogurt, ice cream, and rice. It is an excellent substitute for sugar. Carob syrup is also known as a traditional remedy for coughs and sore throats. It has a high calcium content (almost three times that of milk, with carob containing 350mg per 100g compared to milk's 120mg per 100g).
The taste may vary depending on the variety used without changing the nutritional values. Only Cretan carob trees are used for its production.

I have tried Carob Honey from another brand as well, but I liked this one more in terms of taste. I gave it to a friend of mine who was experiencing constipation and it helped her immediately, while when she switched to the other brand, it had less effect. This makes me think that it is above average in terms of quality in its category.
The fact that it is organic is a plus for me. I don't know why the same company also makes a non-organic version, I haven't tried the non-organic one, but even if it has a better taste, I would still prefer the organic/bio one. I also like its bottle.
Unfortunately, the taste and color are not intense at all for carob honey. It resembles more of a diluted version rather than carob honey. It is very light, almost watery in my opinion. I have tried many types of carob honey, both packaged and homemade. I will never buy this specific one again, therefore I do not recommend it.
No taste at all, more sugar compared to the regular product, calories wasted.
