I had a Lenovo Ideapad 3 17ALC6)(5700u/4+16gb ram, 512gb Ssd) due to the reduced USB ports, I bought this. Make sure the type-C is connected and the fast charge USB-A male with its small USB. It turns the 2 ports into 4 in a random spot! I connected an Intenso 512gb external SSD (400mbps read write), gaming mouse, and a Spirit of Gamer 600 cooling pad! No disconnections for 3 weeks now and it works great!! The mouse doesn't lag and the disk runs smoothly and without any issues. If you have a laptop with USB-C+type-A and want to connect multiple things, this product solves your problems for only €15!!!

  Overall, I have 4 Ugreen products and the company has definitely achieved the ideal combination of quality and price. And this USB hub is excellent. I connected it to USB-C thanks to the adapter it has on top and the cable has sufficient length to reach from the back to the front where I have secured it with Blu Tack. My speed measurements showed that the hub's performance is very close to direct connection to the computer's USB port. When copying a large amount of data, I found that an old hard drive delivered 40 MB/s with a direct connection and 38 MB/s through the hub, reaching 95% of the speed.   Careful and read the specs on the producer's site, more specifically "When you connect iPad or other tablets requiring higher power input, this USB 3.0 hub will sync but NOT charge. (Standard USB 3.0 interface on a laptop can offer Max 900mA power input)." - this is not what we call a USB hub with power delivery port and it will not power/charge the host device such as a Chromecast.
