It burns for a few minutes after application, but I have seen improvement in my acne, while I have tried various stronger ingredients, like tretinoin for example, which did nothing after 1+ year of use. I apply it together with adapalene every night and I have seen good results. It also reduces redness and marks.
Note: It is not regenerating as it says here, it actually does a light exfoliation. Its texture is unpleasant, like toothpaste or something, but it's worth it since it works.
It was recommended to me by a dermatologist for adult acne with blackheads and infection. In less than 2 weeks, the progress of the acne turned my previously clear skin into a mess. I paid a lot for it and threw it away after a week. I alternated it with a gel preparation for one hour every night to adjust my skin. The burning and stinging sensation was so intense that it made me cry... After rinsing, my skin was burnt and the open blackheads were oozing, so to prevent further infection, I applied fucidin. Very bad. I'm glad it helped some people so that there's a reason why it hasn't been withdrawn yet!
The only cream with which I saw a visible change in my skin, the active pimples disappeared almost completely in two days and the acne marks diminished significantly. After trying various creams and serums that failed to help my skin, this cream was the only one that directly "cleared" my face.
I have been using it for 10 days and I noticed that I started getting pimples more often, which leave marks and redness when they go away. I would not buy it again.
I use azelaic acid to improve the texture of my face. I had hormonal acne for years and it left marks. I see some changes in the appearance of my skin, small but consistent. I use it at night along with tretinoin without any problems. It would just be good to use a very small amount since it is a thick cream and it might irritate a little. Besides, a little amount is enough. It has no smell at all.
The only product that effectively fights my acne and does what it promises! It was recommended to me by a dermatologist as I have been dealing with chronic acne for years, and it has been the solution to my problem. The redness disappears, the pimples with pus recede in half the time than usual, and the best part is that the pores with black marks shrink! I no longer use it every night, only during outbreaks, for example, after summer. After using it for even just a few days, my skin is bright and without blemishes!
It has a very nice non-greasy texture and dries matte. I have seen a difference in my skin and I believe it is partly due to this specific product. Sometimes there may be redness after application, but it subsides. The next morning, the skin is velvety.
It has helped me a lot with acne, even with small cysts, for reducing inflammation. It has greatly improved the appearance of my face. It bothers/burns a little in areas near the nose, but it is manageable.
Very good cream recommended by dermatologists. It does a good job locally on pimples, it just takes about 3 days, depending on each person's skin, to dry them out and weaken them. I recommend it!
I have developed a type of acne on my face and back. When I went to my dermatologist, he told me it is hormonal and prescribed me this cream, a lotion, and a soap for daily use. So, when I started using them, following all the steps one by one every day for a month, I didn't see any difference in fighting it. Therefore, I looked for something else for a more immediate solution because it is exhausting to see a skin that was perfectly clear suddenly breaking out every day. However, this whole process left me with many marks on my face and intense red marks that do not fade. Now, I have started using it again for two weeks and I still haven't seen any results. I will continue using it because the whole set was quite expensive and the pharmacist insisted that they are amazing products and very helpful. I truly hope it has helped other people and provided a solution.
It was recommended to me by the dermatologist. It burns a lot!! It is not suitable for sensitive skin at all. It has a very strong, strange, chemical smell. It didn't bother me to the point of not continuing to use it. I had redness immediately after applying it. Yes, it does whiten but it didn't do anything for acne marks. I will continue using the cream and will come back for a review.
This cream is aimed at people with acne and acne marks. What it does is fight inflammation by reducing active acne and smoothing the appearance and texture of the skin, which, in my own experience, it achieves to a great extent. It is definitely not a miraculous treatment that eliminates acne like no other product. However, the change in the texture of my skin is noticeable. It does not have a pleasant scent or a fantastic texture, which doesn't bother me at all since it is a cream that I use during sleep. One thing to note is that there is a possibility that it may sting during use (it has happened to me a few times) and slightly irritate the skin, so the solution for this is to use a soothing cream like Bepanthol on top. It is a product that I have already purchased four times and continue to use because it delivers on its promises.
Maybe it's my own type of acne. But I didn't notice any change. No reduction. Within the 2 months of use, my acne went through exactly the same cycles it used to before.
Initially, my face due to oiliness and hormones was full of acne and blemishes! After consulting with my dermatologist, he recommended this specific cream to me! Due to the marks and acne, I had to apply it all over my face... The tingling sensation was noticeable, but beauty is pain! It is a cream that delivers on its promises, and that's what matters to me. My acne has now disappeared after 2 months of use, as well as the discoloration of my skin! It helped me a lot, although it may not be suitable for all skin types as it can cause irritation on the face. It's better to ask your doctor first!
It is the best for local use. I have hormonal acne and I apply it topically on pimples and it does exactly what it should. It stings because it treats inflammation even on a popped pimple, it immediately calms it down and also fades redness and everything disappears. I bought it yesterday when I had a breakout and today there is almost nothing left on my face. I highly recommend it and I am very happy that I discovered it!
First of all, I have very sensitive skin to the point that I wash my face three times a day and each time I have a lot of oiliness to the point that my hands don't even lather soap!!
The cream does the job it promises and that's all I care about.. whether it stings or not, I don't even care.. I prefer it over the marks and pimples!!
(I haven't tried a similar product to compare it, the only thing I can say is that in combination with a gel day indoxyl 10mg the result will be like that of a pharmaceutical treatment pill) WITHOUT DRYNESS OF COURSE!
In one week, the appearance of pimples decreased by about 80% and the redness also almost disappeared and I am very satisfied with the result so far!
It is a cream that burns you. CAUTION, do not apply it to your entire face. It is good to use it daily at night in a small amount due to its acidity and locally. It does its job, but it requires continuous use and in small quantities to avoid feeling intense tingling. Also, for pimples, I would recommend Bioderma with salicylic acid, it helps after continuous use.
For me, who has red marks from regular breakouts that stay, it is the best thing I have used. I apply it locally at night (a small amount on the entire face, because at first I used too much and it burned me) and in the morning it makes my face one shade lighter, whitens and removes the red color from the marks, but also soothes acne. Thanks to the azelaic acid. I recommend it! Update *13/09/21* The cream helped me for 1 month, then the redness, pimples, etc. returned, my skin probably got used to it. Also, the helenvita hydra boost moisturizer that I used in the morning did a great job in the end.. (the doctor prescribed both, one to burn me and the other to regenerate and moisturize) which is regenerating and fully moisturizing! I bought it again! That's it!
I bought it mainly for whitening, which it didn't even come close to achieving. On the contrary (especially for my mother), it made some discolorations even more pronounced! It doesn't do what it promises. It didn't even help with mild acne. I wouldn't buy it again, even if they gave it to me as a gift, and I'm particularly disappointed because of its origin
My first impression was not good unfortunately. I felt a burning sensation on my face and intense irritation, and I did not see any improvement in my pimples
For the job that I need it for, to treat the pimples that come out either due to hormonal reasons or due to wearing a mask, it is excellent. Do not make the mistake of wearing it all over your face, you may feel a burning sensation due to its strong acid content. I recommend using it ONLY locally, on top of each pimple. If I apply it for 24 hours on a pimple, the next day it has decreased in size (it remains half the size and also flattens cysts). On the third day, the pimple has completely dried out and it also eliminates the red mark it leaves behind. Many times, I apply it on top of my moisturizer locally on some pimples, although it is not recommended. However, it continues to treat the pimples.
It pulls and bites intensely, a problem I never had with Skinoren 20% even when I first started using it (and I've been using it for 3 years, it's not like my skin is not accustomed to azelaic acid). As a result, I developed some redness not from pimples but from irritation. To avoid wasting it, I mix it with a serum before applying it, to weaken it, and this somewhat solved the problem. The application also became easier because on its own it is somewhat lumpy and dry and requires either a lot of product or a lot of pulling to spread, which also plays a role in the irritation. It also has a smell that reminds me of olive paste, fortunately it is not strong and disappears with application. In the end, my opinion is that, although it is twice the quantity for the same price and the ingredients are visually the same, it cannot replace Skinoren.
While it has a high content of azelaic acid, its texture is slightly liquid and as a result, it does not sit well on the skin to act all night. The corresponding Skinoren is a bit more expensive but its texture is thicker and therefore more effective.
In front of beauty, pain fits this cream and my case. At 20% acid, it does a very satisfactory job but it bothers the user a lot. I had redness, itching, and stinging in the areas where I applied it, but after some time they completely disappeared. The side effects are more intense on virgin skin, but if you persist, you get used to it to some extent after 2 weeks. I didn't know this, but I am willing to buy it again if needed because it does a very good job. It is a cream with pharmaceutical action, with a medical background and research in Europe and America classifying azelaic acid as an effective chemical substance.
I have hormonal acne so I didn't expect it to make it disappear, however, in the "active pimples" that I have applied it to, they have reduced in size in the morning.
During application, it turns white on the face and requires some blending to be absorbed.
Finally, it leaves a soft matte feeling.
