Coming from old brita and aquapur faucet filters, I returned to Brita for many reasons.
Certainly, this filter has nothing to do with others. Faster flow of filtered drinking water, the "shower" option is good, as well as the remaining liters meter on the filter.
Highly recommended.
I have been using the Brita jug with a filter from the reputable brand Brita for years and I am very satisfied. However, I am not at all satisfied with the Brita faucet filter (Brita on tap) that I bought about a month ago because the bottom of the water kettle fills with salt in just a few days, while with the Brita jug it took at least a month for the salt to start appearing...!! Also, the water has a strange taste as if you are drinking it unfiltered. My whole family says the same thing. It is more expensive than the jug and it does not filter the salts well. I am not writing this to discredit the company, on the contrary, I was completely satisfied with the jug and I will use it again. I am writing this simply to recommend the jug since all users are satisfied and it is also much more economical in the market compared to the faucet filter. Additionally, the digital display broke after 2 months and it showed astronomical amounts. On the positive side, the water switch system is good, the installation is easy, and the shower function is convenient.
SEE THE TEST VIDEO. easy to install very good I recommend it and in the measurements. as for what I read in the reviews from some people that it is nice tasting I have to say the following the water must have the 3A which are tasteless colorless and odorless
Fantastic quality, taste, and water purity. Very good function that measures the liters of water and lets you know when the filter needs to be changed.
The goods:
Comes with adapters for many types of faucets.
Good build quality and user-friendly switch.
Decent flow rate in filtering.
Very practical shower function for washing.
Even though I have relatively low water pressure at home, it works perfectly in all positions.
The mediocre:
The water is good but still has a bit of a "faucet taste". The kettle accumulates a lot of salts. The pitcher is better, but also much slower.
Relatively bulky for the edge of the faucet, but it has to accommodate the filter somewhere.
Replacement parts cost 20-25€ per piece for 600 liters of water. They are not overly expensive, but not cheap either.
The bad:
Water accumulates in some areas and easily catches sediment. Every time I change the filter, I have to clean it thoroughly with chlorine inside and out due to sediment and vinegar due to salts.
If the shower catches salts, the internal pressure increases and the filter opens where the two plastic pieces are joined. It can be fixed with descaling, but I consider it a flaw for Brita.
From the first moment, mine resets the meter whenever it wants, and it drains the battery in a few days, so I never know how many liters have passed through the filter. Also a flaw because it should be a quality control issue.
Nevertheless, despite the flaws, I am quite satisfied. It performs the basic tasks quite well.
It has impeccable construction quality and especially in the feel of the switch when changing between its three functions. It has a grate/filter at the connection with the faucet for pebbles. The "shower" function in the middle position literally transformed the sink into an everyday tool for washing dishes or vegetables. The downside is that if you have very hard water like me, no matter how careful you are, at some point it will start clogging from the salts, resulting in the main (unfiltered) water outlet gradually increasing in pressure, making it difficult to use and almost rendering the "shower" function unusable. This happens to me approximately between 6 to 9 months.
I consider it an amazing product. Truly, the water is significantly better than bottled water. In some comments, I read that the flow decreases over time. I have changed 4 filters so far, and it happened exactly with one of them. A few days ago, the water company did some construction work, and I believe that particles and dirt filled the filter. In the other 3, the flow never decreased until it was time to replace them.
Water free from any kind of odor, salts, and it quenches your thirst in a different and better way! If it ever breaks, I will definitely buy the same one!
Unfortunately, it didn't work for us at all. We bought it for our house in Karditsa and within 1 month, the indication for liters stopped working and the water was flowing extremely slowly. We contacted the store and they gave us a new one. However, in vain, because after 2 months, the flow decreased significantly again and we ended up removing it. In our house in Thessaloniki, though low, it wasn't as tragic as in Karditsa. I don't know exactly what's happening, but I don't recommend it under any circumstances.
It is easily placed on the faucet, it is very good in use and you have instantly filtered water.
Be careful not to pass hot - boiling water through the filter, as it damages the device.
Amazing filter! The smell I was feeling in the tap water disappeared. The installation is simple to the point of being funny and I consider the cost to be very good. In a household with 2 people who drink a lot of water, from February 2022 until now, we have consumed 400 liters
I have bought the device and the filter a while ago. Everything works great. I hope over time there won't be any issues like the ones I read from other users. The water quality is excellent. It doesn't have a bad taste even after being in warm temperatures for a long time.
It is easily installed on the faucet and the water has a nice taste. The only thing that concerned us is that when the 100 liters of water were consumed, the flow of water from the filter side decreased significantly. It takes quite a while to fill a glass of filtered water.
Excellent water filter, with the well-known quality of BRITA. As a previous user of the on tap water filter from the same company, I have to mention as a positive that the water flows with good pressure (in the previous one, we had to perform miracles to get a glass of water. Thankfully, it broke and we replaced it with this one!) Definitely value for money.
The purchase of the Brita water filter was made almost 4 months ago. We use the filter daily and we are satisfied with the taste of the water, the easy installation, and the proper flow of the water (it does not leak like other filters). It also has strong pressure and the measurement screen shows you when you need to change the filter. The positives include the filter switch that gives you 3 options: shower mode, tap water mode, and filtered water. And all 3 work perfectly. On the negative side, the price of the replacement is considered expensive.
The shower function after a few months catches salts and there is NO easy way to clean it and it gets clogged, resulting in the filter LITERALLY opening in two due to pressure... it's a shame, it was a good idea as a filter :-(
After one year of use, it stopped working. The device literally came apart and opened in two when you tried to select the shower flow. Another negative aspect is the expensive replacement part for 600L of water. While it was working, the water quality was satisfactory.
It is very good and easy to use, but as mentioned by other users, the quality of the water from the pitcher is better. You can easily see it if you use a kettle at home. With water from the Brita pitcher, I didn't need to descale it. The good thing is that you save time and have instantly filtered water.
The filter is fine. But the replacement part is very expensive, you can't afford to spend 25 euros every month for the replacement part plus the water you waste, it costs at least 40 euros per month for water.
Fantastic filter, the shower selection for the sink is amazing, it has strong pressure and the countdown screen is necessary for those who never remember when they changed the filter! Very satisfied!
Very good - improved build quality (compared to the old model that usually broke at the switch), increased flow rate of filtered water (compared to the old one), and the extra shower function is very convenient in the kitchen! Now with the liter measurement, you change the filter when it really needs to be changed, not after 3 months. As for the filtering, of course you can't compare continuous flow filter with the Brita jug (where the water stays in the filter for a long time and filters very slowly), but it does its job and more. If it withstands long-term use, it will be a very good solution.
