The best thing about Soulike is that it is not made by fromsoftware. An incredible hardcore action game from the masters of the genre, Team Ninja. A masterpiece

Having played all the games of this genre, I decided to share my opinions with you. The game has very good controls and a wide variety of weapons, the graphics are very good, the story is satisfying (in Bloodborne, which is a masterpiece, you end up becoming a worm), and the multiplayer, like the first Nioh, is quite good. I hope I helped, I enjoyed it because I didn't expect a Souls game that isn't Miyazaki to be this good

Well, having obtained all the trophies in the original Nioh (which means around 350 hours of gameplay) and being excited about the game, I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed with Nioh 2.
And let me explain, although they have improved several aspects, such as a wider range of weapons, Soul Cores from yokai, Yokai Abilities, three modes of Yokai transformation, better enemy AI, etc., the mute and odorless protagonist reminds me of the also indifferent character you create in Monster Hunter World... no comparison to William from Nioh. Also, once you unlock Quick Change (instant resurrection) and Sloth Talisman (slows down the enemy), the bosses become very easy... I don't remember defeating a boss in Nioh with the same spells in just one attempt, while in Nioh 2 I have defeated many... So the difficulty seems much smaller than the original once you get used to it and the Burst Breaker.

The sequel to the best souls-like game (that is not a from software game) that exists. Nioh 1 was the only game in this category that was not a copy-paste of Dark Souls and differentiated itself with its loot system, movements, etc. Nioh 2 now takes what the first game did and evolves it to a new level, differentiating itself even more from Dark Souls. Now you can create builds with yokai movements, spirits to make things easier. Perfect graphics, gameplay, perfect levels, okay story. I won't lie, the difficulty is high, but it's part of the game and complaining won't get you anywhere.

I finished the game with quite some difficulty and sometimes with the help of the game's NPCs (the blue graves). I have to admit that Nioh 1, which some said is harder, suited me better even though you had to do it solo, unlike Nioh 1 where basically they tell you to take a sword and kill. On the other hand, Nioh 2 has quite a few "hand-holding" elements that make your life easier, personally they confused me more. Also, I believe that the bosses in Nioh 2 lost their life more easily than in the first game, no matter how many levels you had. I do not recommend it for purchase to those who haven't played the first game, I would suggest renting it for a couple of days first. For those who played the first game, they will find themselves in familiar territory but may feel uncomfortable with some changes, for example the burst counter.

I loved the first Nioh, even though I couldn't finish it. It required a lot of grinding, with endless repetition of the same missions to level up. At this age, I don't have the time or patience to play the same level for no reason.

I hoped that if I became a better player, I would be able to progress. So I got the collectors 2, which is a prequel.

It seems even more difficult to me, even though I now have the experience of the first one, having completed three-quarters of the game.

And indeed, I lost to the first boss 150 times, a number sufficient for Uninstall!

The game is quite different from the first part and quite more difficult. It takes time and persistence. If you have played everything you say, you would know what to expect from this game.
And something else, the only thing you lose is the XP, nothing else unless you lose in a party with everyone and decide to continue, then yes, you lose everything you have collected on the track

The game is fantastic but it requires patience
until you level up your character to a satisfactory level
There are many deaths until you learn it but they motivate you to become better
Anyone who has played both will be more familiar

How do we put 6 stars...??? Simply unbelievable and worthy successor of the first Nioh... Improved where it was needed... Better graphics, better gameplay, more abilities... The Soul Cores are a fantastic addition... The game is from another planet... Whoever says it's difficult simply lacks patience... The game will reward you according to the time you dedicate to it... It is very fair in its setup... Once you gradually start building your character, everything falls into place... Until then, yes... Get ready for a lot of frustration... But believe me... When you finally succeed... You feel like hmmmm... Yokai...!!! Ladies and gentlemen... The potential Game Of The Year 2020... Don't miss it...!!!

Truly, the game is a big disappointment. I bought it because I heard people saying that it resembles Dark Souls, which I love! However, the game is a poor imitation of Dark Souls.....the gameplay is mediocre, the graphics are unacceptable for a game in 2020....I played and collected some items in the game, and when I lost, it made me collect the items again from the beginning. I got tired of it, man. I upgraded my heart and stamina four times, but my life and stamina remained the same as before the upgrades. It's frustrating and quite difficult, although I don't care about the difficulty. I have played all the Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, which were amazing games, but this one doesn't give you any motivation to learn it because it's simply a bad game. I played it for 3-4 hours and got bored. It has many flaws that would take me hours to write about. It's an unacceptable game, a very poor imitation of the Soulsborne games!

Perhaps the only game that took FromSoft's formula and evolved it in such a way that today Nioh has its own identity and is not called "discount Souls" like most Souls-like games. Many weapons, different builds, various ways to approach combat, and deep mechanics. If you intend to engage with and endure its difficulty, go for it... but if you belong to the mainstream audience that wants the game to play itself, stay away.
