-2 Stars because almost all the combs have crooked teeth. I'm not going through the process of returning it because it's made of polypropylene and can be straightened with a hairdryer, but it shouldn't be an issue. On the other hand, since it's soft plastic, it won't break as easily as other machines. We'll see.
Reading the reviews about the shaking, I thought some were exaggerating. They are not exaggerating at all. We're talking about a compressor. The trick with the screw helps but doesn't eliminate it. Personally, it doesn't bother me, but it's another issue.
The first haircut went well nonetheless. I didn't notice overheating. It cuts excellently. If it continues like this, it's worth the money. If anything changes, I will come back.
I've been using it since the first lockdown, for haircuts and shaving. Okay, it gets a little warm but nothing drastic, and this is after about 15-20 minutes of use. It's so powerful that you don't need more time for both haircuts and shaving together.
I read comments that it rattles to the point of being unusable. On the right side, there is a cross screw; with a screwdriver, turn the screw a little to the left or right and stop where you feel it runs smoother. That's it!
The machine works just like on the first day, with no problems and without straining at all! It truly is worth its price and then some, and it's amazing for home use. I am so satisfied that if it breaks, I will buy the same one again.
A very good and powerful machine that you can find for 25 euros. I was constantly reading from many people saying it shakes, makes noise, etc. Well, the only thing you can say is that it is an issue, is that after 10-15 minutes of use the machine starts and warms up, to a point that becomes noticeable on your head.
Very good machine and the accessories personally cover me. In the haircut I do, the machine doesn't have time to warm up because I'm done. Usually, I cut my hair every 20 days, so the haircut is short.
Compared to other battery-powered ones, it is incomparable, it is much better in cutting.
Strong machine but the vibration and noise it makes render it unusable, resulting in it simply taking up space in my closet. Spend a little more money (maybe even a lot more) and get a wireless one. I was considering it but didn't do it, resulting in me just throwing away a certain amount of money for this purchase since now I will spend extra for a wireless one. It's better to pay more for something that I will use more rather than use less and not use the product
Well, after many years using classic Philips-style hair clippers with an adjustable guard, I decided to switch to a lever machine for better fades. I read good reviews and saw that some people had issues with the tremor, but I didn't pay attention. Well, it's unacceptable. The tremor is so strong that you can't use it for a continuous period, like 3-4 minutes. You have to keep opening and closing it because it gets tiring. You feel like you're going to get Parkinson's. It's not even as strong as a cement compressor. You can't do any detailed work with such vibration. It's a waste of money.
1) The package does not include the 1.5mm and 4.5mm combs (I bought them separately for 6€), which are necessary for trimming and fading the sides of the head.
2) After a short period of use, it really gets hot.
3) It is also quite heavy and trembles like a compressor when you use it.
4) The cord is a bit inconvenient, machines that are rechargeable are much more comfortable.
Overall, though, it is a very high-quality hair trimming and shaving machine!
Unfortunately, the machine is not worth its money, it was a waste of money. I bought it solely for the high rating it received, but it does not live up to reality.
Excellent machine overall. Very powerful. I shave my head alone, for 12 years now, and I have changed several machines. This one does not pull the hair, it does not irritate the scalp. The levers on the sides allow you to change the distance between the two blades, and therefore the length of the hair that will be cut is the best, as those who know, in very short hair if you put the head on the machine, lines will be created.
It overheats quite a bit after some time of use (about half an hour) and it is not so easy to clean because the part with the heads does not open. But both are so negligible that there is no reason to remove a star from the review. Especially the issue of overheating is something that, as I saw, exists in machines of the same company at machines with double and triple the price.
The case and the extra accessories that come with it are definitely a plus and you can start a whole business from your home with them.
In these money the best, an issue with overheating it had but if you close it at regular intervals there is no problem. As for the 1mm it catches (minimum), it can change if you do zero gap adjustment (see on youtube how) and the 1 can become 0.5mm or even lower. Those interested in low fades can buy 1.5-4.5 guards (3+4€ set) as they are not included in the package.
The machine is 1000% value for money. The best there is in terms of professional type. Okay, there is a slight heat after an hour of operation, but personally I don't even notice it, I only observed it because they mentioned it here in the comments. In the end, it costs 25 euros. Don't even think about it, get it yesterday!!! Amazing return on investment from a hair salon, you can wash a little and do a quick blow-dry. #1000TOP
For amateur use, it is very good.
I was impressed by its construction quality for its price.
It will not disappoint you for a simple haircut.
Just be careful with clogging as it is not for professional use.
It heats up too much after 20 minutes and takes a long time to cool down.
For amateur haircutting (which you can't do too quickly), personally, I cut it in half and cut in two sessions because the machine really overheats after half an hour
Definitely worth its money, but if you want to use it for shaving, personally I bought extra combs of 1.5mm and 4.5mm. For those who say that it heats up quickly, I noticed that too, but I reduced its usage time. For trimming, I use a different machine. Also, after a few falls of the machine (due to carelessness), sometimes you can hear a strange noise as if something inside has broken, but it doesn't hinder you from doing your job. I use it amateurishly to trim my friends.
Machine recently purchased for its money is fine, but: I was not satisfied with the quality of construction and the machine, as well as with the combs that seem fragile and require attention. It does not heat up easily, it does not make much noise, but it has a lot of vibration during the haircut, which becomes tiring after a while for both the person cutting and the person being cut. The many different combs are a plus, it has a long cord, and it does not get clogged. For amateur use and simple haircuts, it's fine.
I give it 3 stars only because it heats up too much after 20 minutes. After half an hour of use, you just can't hold it. It burns! Other than that, it's very good for its price. Just a piece of advice, buy the separate 0.5mm and 1.5mm attachments that are sold separately for €5-€6 for those who are interested in fading/cutting. Before each use, apply 2 drops of the included oil.
The machine does what it's supposed to. In no way does it compare to the 5 star by Wahl. The differences with the expensive model are as follows:
1) It can't cut too deep, leaving about 1 millimeter of hair when there's no attachment on (with the fine one they say).
2) Although it doesn't struggle at all and I think it cuts even the thickest hair effortlessly, it gives the feeling that it's a machine, that you're being shaved.
(If the 5 star didn't have sound from the motor, you wouldn't even realize that your hair is being cut, machine god mode)
As a machine, it struggles a bit. Another negative aspect I found is that it vibrates too much and quickly tires the hand because of it. I am rewriting because the machine heats up too much after a while and also half of the components were crooked inside the packaging
Strong and sturdy construction. It is indeed a bit heavy, but I believe one can get used to it since I recently purchased it. It does not clog, which is very important to me. I highly recommend it.
Very powerful, it's worth its money. Heavy and sturdy. It never gets stuck in any case. The only negative (maybe) is that it heats up quickly and you can feel it in your hand.
I recently purchased it! Very good for its price, perhaps the best value for money at this price level. If you get used to the lever to adjust the cutting level with precision and create fading on the sides of the hair, it gives a very good haircut. It comes with many attachments, combs of different lengths, and scissors for the top hair, and everything one needs for a do-it-yourself haircut or to cut others' hair. Of course, it is not suitable for continuous haircuts as it heats up, which makes it more suitable for amateur use and would make it difficult for a professional. However, the result of the haircut is very good. Also, the fact that it is corded is an advantage for me as it provides stable and more powerful performance, and definitely greater durability over time. Its motor is very powerful like a professional one. The vibration is normal and does not hinder the haircut as some claim, nor does it produce noise that bothers the ears. For me, who wants to do an amateur haircut every 20 days when I don't go to the barber, it is perfect. It also works for mustaches. At the minimum cutting length, it can create lines but it does not shave to zero, like a good trimmer. It is not for shaving and its intended use is mainly for haircuts.
1 star because when I used it, I cut my customers' ears when I tried to open it to clean it, the springs for shaving broke immediately. It won't make any sense to use it, it feels like they have attacked you. Not to mention that the teeth came out crooked
Very good. Especially now with the virus, I use it frequently. With the appropriate accessories, and using the lever, even an amateur like myself, it does a decent job.
It's worth it, take it yesterday... It is very high quality, quiet with a little more vibration.... Well, with 25 euros, don't expect it to be perfect, but it does the job perfectly. Plenty of accessories and oil, of course, for the necessary maintenance of the head. It's worth it.
Quality construction with a multitude of accessories, combs, scissors, and a carrying case. I purchased it for hair cutting due to the situation with the coronavirus. The packaging includes right and left ear taper guards for trimming the area behind the ears. An excellent choice for its price.
Quite powerful, never gets clogged. After half an hour of operation, it starts to heat up, but with a short break, you don't have any problem. For its price, it is very good and comes with many accessories!
