I used it in the past, both the white and the brown, but I didn't like its taste and I switched to another brand. In November 2024, the EFET demanded the recall of batches of both Royal Sugar brown and white sugar.

Following inspections, the presence of foreign bodies of the category of white, plastic, very small size was found. The press release is posted on the EFET website dated 20/11/2024 and titled: "Recall of unsafe food: white crystalline sugar and brown sugar from sugar cane - presence of foreign bodies."
