This book attempts to introduce the science of occupational therapy, which this year (2017) celebrates a century of existence and evolution. It is the science that recognizes the importance of "work" in an individual's well-being, it is the profession that differs from others, that builds bridges, that overflows with emotions, that invests in relationships. It is the occupational therapists who work behind the "scenes" to provide individuals with the tools to be the protagonists in their own daily lives.
