Made with a lower amount of rye than most modern rye whiskies, Woodford Reserve is a representative whisky of a more traditional Kentucky Rye. It has a bold character, and the emphasis on spice offers a long and sweetly spiced finish.

It features the taste characteristics of a spicy nose with distinct notes of rye, black pepper, cedar, and cassia bark. The rye, mint, molasses, and honey blend together with notes of apple and malt to create a unique flavor with a long and sweet spiced finish.

    Quite intense flavor of wood, fruits, and tobacco (almost like regular Woodford).. very pleasant on the nose, quite flavorful.
    It has very nice notes of vanilla and sweet caramel aromas on the nose, I believe for its price it is a bit expensive... I think if it was at least €5 cheaper it would be perfect.
    Also, as soon as you open the bottle, the aromas and taste are much more intense compared to the next 2-3 days.
